Just ordered take away, chicken jalfrezi, rice, nan and chips - got home and i have beef jalfrazi; i don't like beef in a curry! Would i be unreasonable to telephone and let them know?

Nickname, I don't know about the OP, but when we get takeaway like that, it's usually shared between a gang of us. So we all just get a little bit of everything. Like what I listed ^ up there. I didn't eat it all myself (though I probably could manage it if I put my fat arse back in to it ). Just had a wee serving of everything.

Tallulah chips with curry are spectacular. Especially when doused with vinegar. I'm probably a filthy beast, though

I love chips with curry, in fact I usually order chips, rice, naan AND poppadom with my curry. I sometimes have a curry, rice and hip sandwich.

We share as well. OH, DD and I share one rice and one naan between the three of us. I was surprised at one meal with three carb accompaniments.

We aren't holier than thou about healthy food though, our local Indian has huuge portions.

ClashCityRocker its a chinese staple here.Its fried rice/chips/curry sauce ALL IN ONE TRAY.

And now they have spice bags or boxes.Chips with chili salt/peppers chicken.Its massive.

I get how the OP can be annoyed but it is a strange AIBU topic.

I once ordered vegetable dhansak and they gave me prawn dhansak instead which I couldn't eat. Couldn't be arsed going back out to change it so phoned them & they offered to give free one with next order or refund me. Which was fine though it spoilt a nice cosy night in.

Never heard of chips and curry didn't realise that was a thing but respect to the OP for curry, rice, nan AND chips!

YABU for ordering triple carbs, I do half of a rice and half of a naan and that's bad enough, but chips too
