Well, we're back by popular demand. Or not, as the title suggests. It's been incredible that four threads have reached a thousand posts where nobody, no one and no one at all posted anything. At all.

So, continue the party. Join the party and gatecrash the party. Let's see if we can reach five thousand posts of whiffle, piffle and pictures of Aidan Turner.

I know people who say pry-mark and pre-mark. I don't know which one is correct.

For IKEA most people I know say: Eye-Key-Ah, instead of the correct: Ick-Key-Ah

VanillaSugar · 14/08/2016 09:13

Sc'oh'ne

Primary.

I used to live in East Yorkshire where they make fern curls, whilst drinking kirk on their way herm.

Jet I'm please to see the pie chart agrees with me. S-cone to rhyme with cone.

BeingATwatItsABingThing · 14/08/2016 09:31

I am very much a Prymark! But apparently I'm from the town known for saying Premark. Hmm

Whataboutwhathuh · 14/08/2016 09:33

Chicco the baby brand I didn't realise is pronounced key co.

Bettercallsaul1 · 14/08/2016 09:40

Away with your damned lies and statistics, jet! That simply reflects what the ignorant rabble think anyway.

In the interests of brevity, I shall simply abbreviate my argument in future to gone!

RubyCav · 14/08/2016 09:59

Chicco the baby brand I didn't realise is pronounced key co.

I didn't know that. BEKO is pronounced B-eK-O not Bee-co as most people I know including me used to think.

RubyCav · 14/08/2016 10:01

Didn't jiff become cif because jiff was supposed to be pronounced cif?

AverageGayLad · 14/08/2016 10:04

Calling it "lid-ul" pisses me right the fuck off. It's "Leedle"!

Bettercallsaul1 · 14/08/2016 10:11

I read that Jif meant something rude in some countries it was exported to, Ruby so they changed it.

BeingATwatItsABingThing · 14/08/2016 10:11

I say Lidle wrong then. Blush

Bettercallsaul1 · 14/08/2016 10:15

See - what are we like! It's like the Mrs Merton show on this thread at ten o'clock on a Sunday morning. Heated debate or what?

Bettercallsaul1 · 14/08/2016 10:16

They'll be moving us back to AIBU in a jiffy (ciffy?)

RubyCav · 14/08/2016 10:25

Calling it "lid-ul" pisses me right the fuck off. It's "Leedle"!

I know its "Leedle" yet my brain still makes me say "lid-ul"

VanillaSugar · 14/08/2016 10:26

Apparently it's it IKEA to rhyme with idea but IKKY-yar.

Quinoa - that was in a thread recently. It should be pronounced Key-Noah. All that KeenWah stuff is made up shit.

OP posts:
VanillaSugar · 14/08/2016 10:26

Hang on..... isn't it Liddle? Blush

VanillaSugar · 14/08/2016 10:27

Cos liddle things mean a lot. Where does Lidle come from? Where's it sourced ?

AverageGayLad · 14/08/2016 10:33

It's a German company, and that's how they pronounce it so that's how I pronounce it!

Bettercallsaul1 · 14/08/2016 10:36

All that KeenWah stuff is made up shit.

Grin It's hilarious, isn't it?

I'm glad I've never had to buy it. I suppose I could just have pointed.

Bettercallsaul1 · 14/08/2016 10:39

But, Average, do you say you are going to Paree when visiting the French capital? 'Cos that's how the French pronounce it, you know.

AverageGayLad · 14/08/2016 10:40

I grew up in Germany not Paris Grin
