On the EU point YANBU. He totally failed to engage with disaffected labour voters. He only announced his support for remain at the last minute and then has been pretty quiet and ineffectual. I live in a labour cast iron safe seat and voted remain. I was firmly in the minority. The people of my town don't care about one set of Tory public school boys fighting with another but they should have had their concerns and fears listened to. Sadiq Khan was far more impressive but his focus is naturally on London. I don't think Corbyn's heart was in remain but I imagine he supported it to prevent labour infighting and to not be aligned with Farage.

The other point is difficult. He stood back and let the Tories implode on themselves which is sensible. However, the upshot is likely to be Prime Minister Boris with IDS and Gove backing him up. Not really a different situation to the Cameron era.

He certainly didn't do much about trying to keep us in the EU.

I have no doubt about Corbyn's opposition to the EU. It was expressed over decades, a few months of ineffectual support for the sake of party unity don't change it. His brother even appeared in the Lexit movie.

Working class Labour supporters came out in their millions to support this POV.

He seems to have been very disengaged from the whole thing. If he's so opposed to the EU, why not show the courage of his convictions and come out on the side of the leave campaign?

Instead there's been some half hearted support of remaining, he wasn't exactly enthusiastic in his support. I don't think he's done himself any favours with either side there.

Hes weak which you dont want that as a party leader. The labour mps are worrying about their seats and having a weak leader isnt good. I personally think he hates the uk and is dangerous but thats just my little 2p worth which means nothing.

I am still a big fan of Corbyn. His decision to back remain was made on a lesser of two evils basis, and his campaigning was quiet and very ground level because he didn't feel he could make grand speeches when he only gave the EU a 7 out of 10. Conviction politics. This country needs more people like him.

I am a lifelong lib dem supporter but I am seriously considering joining the Labour Party because of Corbyn and would definitely vote for him.

I am not a Labour voter but he is incredibly weak and wishy washy. I didn't see him making strong statements about what he believed in. He couldn't inspire anyone to vote one way or the other.

He is weak, passive and not leadership material in the slightest. If Labour want ANY votes next time round from "middle England" voters who float between Conservative/Labour/LIb Dem and not just from the crunchy student types, they need to get rid of Corbyn asap and go for someone like Chuka Umunna.

I think he did a terrible job. He is a party leader and made little effort either.

Even though I wanted to remain I would have more respect for him if he supported the out campaign. We all know it's what he thinks.

He wasn't particularly vociferous in EU campaigning, you make it sound as if he was instrumental in the Leave campaign. And I don't recall DC resigning because of him, either.

He always looks uncomfortably out of his depth. He was a wildcard brought in by party members very much against the wishes of its MPs. If he becomes PM I forsee a return to 70s union rule on top of whatever an EU-less future holds. DH said last night if he gets in as PM we will pack our bags and join the inevitable brain drain.

I did support him and I do realise this is a bad time for labour to start in fighting.

But what a useless, half arsed, remain campaign he ran. Compare to how Gordon Brown spoke so passionately about what Europe has done for us. It is such a poor show from Corbyn I think it's unforgivable. I hope he's gone over this.

His heart and head are in the right place but he isn't leadership material. Let alone potential PM.

I couldn't even tell you if he was Remain Or Brexit, that's how clear he was on the campaign trail, the rare times I saw him. He acted as though he was bored by it all and barely said a word so no, his time is up!!

Corbyn is a conviction politician and not one for great theatrics like Cameron, BJ and Farage.

I voted Remain because I trust Corbyn most out of all the politicians. He said he was 7/10 in favour of the EU and I felt this was an honest and considered opinion. He said time and time again that the EU had faults but that we were better off in and then needed to focus on enacting reform.

I don't find him wishy washy at all. I think he is a rare creature in a sea of egomaniac, grandstanding rampant ambition.

And I think he genuinely gives a shit and as such gives voice to the ambivalence inherent in many important issues. However a lot of people want certainty and so will be swayed by the fist thumping rhetoric employed by those well trained in the debating teams of Eton et al.

When Corbyn feels strongly about something we all know about it, ie workers rights. He is very passionate about that.

I would love to see him become PM. However I suspect he is not really that bothered about attaining that title, except for the power it would give him to effect change in areas he is passionate about.

Contrast that to BJs rampant ambition. He is desperate to become PM and achieve his fantasy of being the next Churchill and it is a terrifying prospect which may well come true.

He's a lame duck. Labour need a someone more moderate with charisma who can reach out to middle England I'm afraid. Or we are doomed to a generation of Conservative led governments.

Ummm, really a great job? He did not campaign enough to encourage labour supporters to vote in. As a result, Scotland, whom labour relies upon for votes are mightily pissed off. They want to leave the UK, and may well do. If they do Labour will not have enough support in the rest of the UK to win a majority - look what happened in the last election. Even if they don't leave, this appears to have made Scottish voters more likely to vote SNP and thus Labour has no chance in Scotland.

It seems like a disaster for the Labour Party to me. Jeremy Corben has helped the country shift to the right.

He is useless. Totally unelectable. I wanted to like him, genuinely, but he just isn't up to it. I ranted on FB before the referedum that he had failed to galvanise support for remain. He should have been out WITH Cameron campaigning as a united front. He was asked a fair question on the Last Leg which was why he wouldn't share a platform with Cameron on the issue of the EU but he would with Hamas. He said they're different things. No shit.
