To find the person wearing Poison (lighthearted)

in the office and ask her never to wear it to work again?

Seriously, that stuff hasn't got any less stinky since it's late 80s/early 90s heyday. Plus I can smell it at my desk and whoever it is - and let's face it, she won't be hard to find - must be over ten metres away.

YANBU that stuff smells rank.

HippyPottyMouth · 13/05/2016 13:31

Her name's Pat. She used to go out with my dad, about 30 years ago. She's lovely. There can't be more than one Poison-wearer, surely.

wowfudge · 13/05/2016 13:32

There must be Hippy because there's no one called Pat working here!

In an office on a warm day? Ooh that's not pleasant.

wowfudge · 13/05/2016 13:35

I know - caught my first whiff of it when I went to the loo earlier. Urgh. Reminds me sitting in an A level class with a girl who drenched herself in the stuff every damn day.

Oh no...I'm queasy at the thought of it. Vile stuff.

originalmavis · 13/05/2016 13:37

It's not called 'poisson' for nothing. I'd rather sniff week old prawns.

bumblefeline · 13/05/2016 13:37

YANBU I can smell it in my mind as I am reading this.

candykane25 · 13/05/2016 13:39

The only thing worse is Clinique aromatics - people who like that so seem to thing it has to be applied very liberally.

GeorgeTheThird · 13/05/2016 13:39

Oh bollocks I was about to buy Poison Girl. Is that just as bad then?

wowfudge · 13/05/2016 13:39

Thing is, it must be years since I last got knocked out by it smelled it, but it must be engraved on my brain.

onemouseplace · 13/05/2016 13:43

I get the most horrendous headache if I get even a whiff of Clinique Aromatics - just awful stuff.

DorindaJ · 13/05/2016 13:43

I love Poison...😊 obviously I am in the minority. Not liberally applied. Smells great on me.

wowfudge · 13/05/2016 13:44

Don't do it George. Dior do some lovely stuff (I'm a J'adore wearer myself but thought that was going to be heavy and stinky at first - it isn't), but anything with Poison in the name ain't one of them!

wowfudge · 13/05/2016 13:44

If you can smell your own perfume, you are wearing too much. Just saying......

I feel your pain. I have a colleague that likes to drown herself in Calvin Klein's Eternity every time she comes back from her fag/loo/coffee break.
It burns my nose and makes me feel sick Angry Bird

iamEarthymama · 13/05/2016 13:50

Ohyou hav sent me back to my Poison wearing days!
I loved it so much.

I used to think I was so glamorous, so sophisticated 😊

Now I am an aging lentil-weaver I commit the equally heinous sin of wearing patchouli.

I hope you all forgive me, makes me feel really happy but I don't want to give you all bad heads.

scarednoob · 13/05/2016 13:51

It's vanilla for me. Can't bear the smell. There was a very overweight girl in our year who used to wear body shop vanilla spray and sweat. Makes me gip!

NoSpamPam · 13/05/2016 13:53

Get over yourself I'm sure ur annoying too
(Light farted)

KinkyAfro · 13/05/2016 13:53

Thierry Mugler is the worst scent for me, gives me an instant migraine. If I ever go out with mum I have to ask her to please not wear it.

KinkyAfro · 13/05/2016 13:54

What does her being overweight have to do with anything, scarednoob

DerelictMyBalls · 13/05/2016 13:58

I love Poison and can never understand why it's so widely hated when scents such as Issey Miyake and Clinique Happy are so popular.

wowfudge · 13/05/2016 14:09

1 Poison wearer = 100 other people all wearing the same perfume.

OP posts:
EllenDegenerate · 13/05/2016 14:14

I'm here!

Mommawoo · 13/05/2016 14:16

Yanbu. Mil drowns herself in the stuff and it gives me a headache.

Who the fuck wants to wear a perfume called poison anyway? It doesnt even sound appealing. I much prefer my natural scent of wet labrador and baby vomit.
