DH has just decided to 'wind down' listening to them tonight. I forgot he liked them, but have just been subjected to their 'greatest' hits. I genuinely forgot blocked out the trauma of just how crap they really are.

New order are in a different league to Oasis. I saw Oasis st the Sheffield Leadmill in 1994 (I think)

I disagree with the OP. I thought Blur won the battle but Oasis the war, so to speak. Especially the first two albums.

I loved Supergrass, sidies and all. Oasis did a lot of shite, but I've got very fond memories of singing Wonderwall at various late-opening establishments after having partaken of snakebite.

Blur are better - and have still got it. They're amazing live.

Worst band ever. Noel Gallagher is a shameless plagiarist who copies the Beatles, Neil Innes, Mott the Hoople, Slade and more note by note, and chord for chord. He is a poor guitarist who can only strum songs he has copied. His imbecile brother can nasally whine a few notes. Then repeat. And posture like some cro magnon chimp. Slow, boring and Utterly dire, they are worse swindlers than the sex pistols. At least the sex pistols were honest about their total lack of ability. Oasis suck. Put them in the bin.
