AIBU?

To not move on the train?

I was on a very busy packed train with my friend and DS. DS was in a sling, we had the buggy and I was feeding him. We were standing by the doors (no one offered us seats!) trying to feed a screaming baby, penned in by others standing. There was no where we could go.

People tried to push past us to get out the doors and nearly sent DS flying. I firmly asked if they could use one of the other doors and I literally couldn't go anywhere. Cue mutterings and dirty looks!

We couldn't collapse the pram there wasn't room to do and as no one had offered a seat we couldn't move anywhere! WIBU to ask them to use another door?

So you've taken so many bags, buggies, bought stuff that you can't between yourself and your friend move with and then wanted to travel home in the rush hour.

If the amount of bags you had limited your mobility then you've bought and wish to carry to much in one go!

You were taking DS out for the day, that's lovely but perhaps in future do it outside of rush hour? Feed your baby in the waiting room at the station before trying to do it on a packed commuter train?

They charge an additional premium to travel in the morning rush hour to put off this type of scenario, they obviously assume that avoiding the evening rush hour with bags, buggies, slings and so much stuff you can't move and a hungry baby is down to common sense???

In future avoid the rush hour!

YABVVU!

Ah I see now you didn't have that many bags! Really between two adults you couldn't hold the briefcase, pram bag (why separate bag for formula) and a boots bag? Not sure why you couldn't have left friend with buggy, moved to the vacant area in middle of the aisle and fed your baby there ! But clearly you are entitled to make everyone around you move, I'm sorry but if it were that easy for people to use the other door then the train wasn't that busy and you could've moved.

You've had a bad day, perhaps the other commuters had worse?
