To ask your opinion on this very important site issue?

So mumsnet have recently changed the option to highlight both OP's and your own posts in a specific colour. They claim that only 8% of posters use this feature and hence it's unneeded.

I and some others disagree So please if you would, can you answer the following questions for me? Either to protest the change or to support MNHQ, I don't mind, just interested in this 8%. Copy and paste your answer.

Do you use the highlight posts feature?

If yes
Yes, I tried it, but I didn't like it.
Yes, I use it on the desktop and mobile site but not the app.
Yes and I would like to keep it.

Not interested in a highlighting option.
Only use the app and it's not an option on there.

I didn't use it at first as I didn't know it existed! Mn should do more to advertise it!

It makes it so much easier to navigate the site.

You are asking the wrong question.

You should be asking whether those who knew about and used the feature chose custom colours. That is the issue as I understand it. Only 8% chose to use non-standard colours so they removed the choice. You can still highlight posts (now the mistake has been rectified.)

They aren't taking away the option to highlight posts" it was a temporary glitch.

Yes and it's the reason I use safari rather than the app.

I would significantly reduce the time I spent on here if it's lost. I'm not as bothered about my posts being highlighted but the OPs are a necessity.

I find the green very difficult to read btw - it is vile

Actually, I would probably use MN a lot less if I couldn't highlight the OP as it makes it much quicker to look for updates.

No, only use the app. Wish it had this feature!!!!!!!!

Yes I use it and I like it BUT I'm currently trialling the new power hungry app and it only highlights the name not the whole post. I don't like that.

Op posts should be highlighted regardless if you are logged on.

It's still there isn't it? I am mauve and the OP is grey. Only go on MN on a desktop.
