To ask your opinion on this very important site issue?

So mumsnet have recently changed the option to highlight both OP's and your own posts in a specific colour. They claim that only 8% of posters use this feature and hence it's unneeded.

I and some others disagree So please if you would, can you answer the following questions for me? Either to protest the change or to support MNHQ, I don't mind, just interested in this 8%. Copy and paste your answer.

Do you use the highlight posts feature?

If yes
Yes, I tried it, but I didn't like it.
Yes, I use it on the desktop and mobile site but not the app.
Yes and I would like to keep it.

No, I didn't know that you could do this.
Not interested in a highlighting option.
Only use the app and it's not an option on there.

I think you have misrepresented the issue. Unless I have misunderstood, its only the option to choose which colour is the OP and which is you has been removed, instead giving one set colour for OP posts and one set colour for your own.

You have given the impression that it will be/is no longer the ability to highlight the OP/own posts at all, which as far as I can see is not the case at all?

Highlight posts has not been removed, colour customisation for highlight posts has been removed.

Yes, I use it for the op's posts and my own. I love it!
It doesn't seem to work on the app.

I use it and would find some threads unreadable without it.

Hell yes and I want to keep it. How else will I keep up with what the OPs argument is? I don't remember names any longer than it takes me to scroll up a screens length. I'd be perminantly lost.

If you're right Urethra (and I can't find the thread!!) then that's a whole different thing...quite happy to have the colours chosen for me!!
