To ask your opinion on this very important site issue?

So mumsnet have recently changed the option to highlight both OP's and your own posts in a specific colour. They claim that only 8% of posters use this feature and hence it's unneeded.

I and some others disagree Grin So please if you would, can you answer the following questions for me? Either to protest the change or to support MNHQ, I don't mind, just interested in this 8%. Copy and paste your answer.

So firstly:
Do you use the highlight posts feature?

If yes
Yes, I tried it, but I didn't like it.
Yes, I use it on the desktop and mobile site but not the app.
Yes and I would like to keep it.

If no
No, I didn't know that you could do this.
Not interested in a highlighting option.
Only use the app and it's not an option on there.

I think having options for the colour is for the best. I find the MNHQ blue post tint slightly harder to read than white, pastel pink or even purple, so it's guaranteed that enforcing the choice of colour will make somebody's life more difficult. I use this function a lot to quickly read all the OP's posts in longer threads before even thinking about replying. It's also very useful being able to see where I last posted if I come back later.

Think it's essential, tbh, to stop idiots who say they haven't got time to read the whole thread and pile in when the OP has given some vital info halfway through. I mean, you can't MAKE people look at the OP's posts, but it flags them up if they're highlighted so there's no excuse.
