To ask your opinion on this very important site issue?

So mumsnet have recently changed the option to highlight both OP's and your own posts in a specific colour. They claim that only 8% of posters use this feature and hence it's unneeded.

I and some others disagree So please if you would, can you answer the following questions for me? Either to protest the change or to support MNHQ, I don't mind, just interested in this 8%. Copy and paste your answer.

Do you use the highlight posts feature?

Yes, I tried it, but I didn't like it.

Yes and I would like to keep it. I find it bloody irritating that it's just disappeared and I can't keep track of what an OP has said. Would seriously think about leaving if it doesn't come back because...well I spend too much time on here anyway, I need an excuse to leave and it just makes reading stuff more laborious.

It is incredible useful for long threads if you want to see what is happening with the op, but not read the whole thing.

I can't see the point in getting rid of it, surely it's straightforward enough to just leave it be?

Yes, I use it on my tablet. I set the OP's posts to one colour and mine to a different colour.

I highlight mine and OPs post and would use MN less without it as I'm already losing the love so happy for excuses to give up.

Yes, I always use the highlight posts feature - mine highlighted in pink and the OP's in green. I find it very useful. I haven't worked out how to do this on the Android app however.
