It has gone a bit darker, but I was hoping for something more dramatic. AIBU?

Yup, too cloudy here - can see fuck all.

strawberrydaquari · 20/03/2015 09:38

YABU where are you in the country? Up in Scotland it looks fantastic

Isitmeorisitthem · 20/03/2015 09:39

We are in the area where there is supposed to be the best view except it is cloudy. Can't see anything at all.

onedirectionparent · 20/03/2015 09:39

yep Scotland too, and it's gone very cold as well as dark. Bit spooky actually....

Lucyccfc · 20/03/2015 09:40

It's not cloudy in the NW and there has been nothing. The full sun is still shining.

MinceSpy · 20/03/2015 09:41

London is just dull and very cloudy :((

Dr0pThePirate · 20/03/2015 09:41

Up in Scotland it looks fantastic Hmm

Check your latitude privilege!

YANBU. But I'm comparing to the last one where we had total darkness and a dawn chorus when they sun reappeared. It's less cloudy for us than last time but still less dramatic as it didn't go very dark.

FannyPancake · 20/03/2015 09:42

Yep! I woke up extra early. It's so cloudy here can't see a thing!! It's not even dark Hmm I'm now using this extra time to do my cleaning while the baby's still asleep. Grin

HeartShapedBox · 20/03/2015 09:42

Total let down... It's too grey and dull to see anything. (Scotland)

BaronessEllaSaturday · 20/03/2015 09:42

I'm in the NW and it was fantastic here, enough cloud cover to reduce the glare but not too much that we couldn't see the eclipse. It is cold though.

dementedpixie · 20/03/2015 09:42

I am in Scotland and it is so cloudy that I can't see anything

liveloveluggage · 20/03/2015 09:42

I'm in the south of England, maybe it will get here later? The seagulls do seem to be getting excited.

theworkofsatan · 20/03/2015 09:43

I'm in Nottingham and it just looks like it's going to rain.

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 20/03/2015 09:43

No, it's over now.

Pantone363 · 20/03/2015 09:44

Birds are going nuts here, singing their heads off!

Morelikeguidelines · 20/03/2015 09:44

In London there was nothing at all. Barely even got darker.

HappyAmbler · 20/03/2015 09:44

Not sure how, but I seem to have missed it?! It's cloudy, so wouldn't have been able to see any thing, but I didn't even notice it going dark!

skinoncustard · 20/03/2015 09:44

Scotland too, just looks another driech day . Too much cloud to see anything.

jimblejambles · 20/03/2015 09:45

We are in Yorkshire and the cloud cleared just enough for us to see it.

Morelikeguidelines · 20/03/2015 09:45

Glad I didn't buy those blooming expensive specs!

Guadalupe · 20/03/2015 09:45

Tiny gap in the clouds showed it briefly here in the East. Quite lucky really as there's been thick blanket of cloud all morning.

Hobby2014 · 20/03/2015 09:45

I couldn't see anything where I am. Too many clouds. Didn't get dark.

MissMuesli · 20/03/2015 09:46

It was a bit of a non event in lincolnshire too!
