Anyone else think ed is just what the country could do with. He's not bothered by the way he looks and image, he just gets on with it. The son of polish immigrants so has had to work his way up. Went to a rough London comprehensive school, the same as urban band n dubs! Hes promising a better deal to the young and to stop the savage cuts. I can't think of any good reason not vote for him.

People go on about him having two kitchens and looking funny when eating a sand wedge. But he and his wife have had to work for two kitchen and o think good for them. We all look dodgy eating too!

OP posts:
KingJoffreyFanciesDarylDixon · 14/03/2015 17:27

Why does he have two kitchens?

Reekypear · 14/03/2015 17:28

If he sells his 1.2 million pound home, says his oxford education was elitist, and goes to live on a council estate, sends his kids to a ofstead special measures school then I will vote for him.

If he's willing to experience what a lot of people experience even for one year...I might think about it, all I see is try's hard champagne socialism.

Oh BTW all the angst between political parties is just for show, they all get on because they are all part of the same elite club.

thatsn0tmyname · 14/03/2015 17:29

I just can't see it. He's not credible.

ghostyslovesheep · 14/03/2015 17:29

I am a socialist and I have a nice bottle of champagne in my fridge (Mother's day gift off the ex)

doesn't make my views any less valid

WD41 · 14/03/2015 17:31

Yanbu. Completely agree

Bowlersarm · 14/03/2015 17:35

Yeah right.

If you had said David I might agree.

As you haven't, I dont.

JohnFarleysRuskin · 14/03/2015 17:36

I thought he inherited his house through a tax loophole his parents used?

NoArmaniNoPunani · 14/03/2015 17:37

I think he's the best option we have.

Trenzalore · 14/03/2015 17:37

Im voting labour, I like what he was sayng in his latest speech, lets see if it sticks.

Anyone but that sodding scumbag we currently have.

OttiliaVonBCup · 14/03/2015 17:39

I'm still baffled by the kitchenette.

Come on Ed, explain.

JohnFarleysRuskin · 14/03/2015 17:39

I think he's a great option if we want to bankrupt the country.

GirlsWhoWearGlasses · 14/03/2015 17:42

YANBU I feel he's on our side. Not like the current lot, treating running the country, for the benefit of their cronies, like a Saturday job.

ginghamcricketbox · 14/03/2015 17:43

Worked his way up?
He has never had a "proper" job.

bruffin · 14/03/2015 17:44

OttiliaVonBCup

He is Jewish, it is kosher to have two kitchens, to separate the meat and dairy. Those that dont have room or the money to have two kitchens tend to have two ovens, sinks etc

JohnFarleysRuskin · 14/03/2015 17:46

I don't think That's the reason bruffin. Eds an atheist not orthodox as far as I heard.

Feminine · 14/03/2015 17:46

I don't believe any politicians are for the people.

I won't vote because of this.

However, we might as well have a change... So YANBU. Go vote for him!

AgentProvocateur · 14/03/2015 17:46

Bruffin, as he's been pictured with a bacon roll, I highly doubt that his two kitchens are for kosher reasons.

JohnFarleysRuskin · 14/03/2015 17:51

Yes agent-

But perhaps Ed was pictured with a bacon buttie but then went to eat his Parma ham bruschetta. ;)

ArmyDad · 14/03/2015 17:52

I think David Miliband would have been better, but as Labour fucked it up so badly last time I'll not bother voting for them any time soon

OttiliaVonBCup · 14/03/2015 17:52

Yes, I'm sure in some cases that is an explanation.

He does seem partial to bacon sandwiches though, so maybe not in his case.

I think this will be the Two Kitchens Election.

Bowlersarm · 14/03/2015 17:53

That's a very generous explanation bruffin. In Ed's case, not the right one.

Holdthepage · 14/03/2015 17:54

Ed is an atheist who eats bacon sarnies (badly) he doesn't have 2 kitchens for kosher reasons.

Roll on May when all the claptrap will be over & the political activists can take a break from planting positive spin on social media.

DontDrinkandFacebook · 14/03/2015 17:54

I'd quite like to see him eat a sand wedge. It might mean I don't have to listen to his bloody awful voice for a minute.

OttiliaVonBCup · 14/03/2015 17:54

I must say though I would not vote for him even if the only cooking space he had was a barbecue in the back garden.

lem73 · 14/03/2015 17:57

Has someone in the labour campaign infiltrated mumsnet? This is the second positive thread I've seen about Ed Miliband today.
