Anyone else think ed is just what the country could do with. He's not bothered by the way he looks and image, he just gets on with it. The son of polish immigrants so has had to work his way up. Went to a rough London comprehensive school, the same as urban band n dubs! Hes promising a better deal to the young and to stop the savage cuts. I can't think of any good reason not vote for him.

People go on about him having two kitchens and looking funny when eating a sand wedge. But he and his wife have had to work for two kitchen and o think good for them. We all look dodgy eating too!

OP posts:
Bettercallsaul1 · 14/03/2015 17:58

He may not be perfect but is most definitely better than the alternative.

OttiliaVonBCup · 14/03/2015 17:59

Positive lem?

The OP seems to be fan crushing, the rest of us are mostly Hmm.

OttiliaVonBCup · 14/03/2015 18:01

sand wedge?

Won't that crumble, like the rest of his sand foundation?

BakewellSlice · 14/03/2015 18:03

sand wedge - a golfing term? another PR disaster...

DuchessDisaster · 14/03/2015 18:03

Like a hole in the head?
Happy to sire 2 children out of wedlock. Happy to live off his "partner"/wife. What has he actually ever done, in real life?
But hey, socialists are always brilliant at spending other people's money.

Bettercallsaul1 · 14/03/2015 18:05

Prefer sand to the flinty nature of the Conservative party.

expatinscotland · 14/03/2015 18:07

God no! A snake in the grass who stabbed his own brother in the back, and his right hand man with the name 'balls'.

Worked his way up, my arse!

I'd sooner vote for Mickey Mouse.

sweetkitty · 14/03/2015 18:07

It shows how bad the other lot are if Ed is seen as a good alternative.

finnbarrcar · 14/03/2015 18:08

Since Milliband's disgusting behaviour exhibited in the run up to the Independence referendum, every Scottish Labour voter I know has said they will NEVER vote Labour again, many have even said they'd rather Cameron got in than him. He's an empty box.

Totally agree. I see someone pretending not to be david cameron. and i dont like it.

HermioneWeasley · 14/03/2015 18:09

He's such a poor choice that he makes ham faced Cameron look "leaderly"

didyouwritethe · 14/03/2015 18:09

I agree with lem73.

And that a sand wedge may well be the answer.

Hillingdon · 14/03/2015 18:09

Labour made such a mess last time, who on earth would think of voting for them.

Ed hasn't worked his way up anything. What proper job has he ever had. He has ideals yet lives a champagne socialist life style.

He seems to struggle with his views and he and that other Ed will bankrupt the country. If he does a deal with the SNP we will be ruled by a party where a key part of it hates England and will use it for Scottish ends....

sanfairyanne · 14/03/2015 18:10

better than the others, perhaps, probably even, but no knight in shining armour

TheFecklessFairy · 14/03/2015 18:10

I won't vote because of this.

Then you should be thoroughly ashamed of yourself.

Hillingdon · 14/03/2015 18:10

So with the economy on the up, mortgage rates one of the lowest they have ever been, unemployment down - so why is the alternative worse....

Bettercallsaul1 · 14/03/2015 18:11

Almost 50% of babies are now born out of wedlock and this is set to be over 50% by 2016. His relationship with his partner is a long-lasting and committed one. I don't think that is a valid criticism of Ed Miliband at all.

Viviennemary · 14/03/2015 18:12

He's too posh to be Labour IMHO. Though he does appeal to the champagne sociialists. The ones who move to a Tory area to get their DC's into the best schools. And if they're not quite up to scratch it's private school.

expatinscotland · 14/03/2015 18:14

Oh, please! He has two kitchens because he's a posho who lives in a house that used to have a scullery, there's that much space. In London. He's as clueless as the rest of them. This man wouldn't know reality if it bit him in the face. Please.

Cunderthunt · 14/03/2015 18:16

That's the funniest thing I've read all day!!!!! It was a joke right, please tell me that was a joke??

didyouwritethe · 14/03/2015 18:16

I can't see why he would appeal to champagne socialists. Surely they're the last people to want the economy to do a nose-dive. Unless they're in his circle and promised knighthoods.

Bettercallsaul1 · 14/03/2015 18:23

The principles of the party are more important than the personality of the leader - we vote for a government, not a prime minister.

JassyRadlett · 14/03/2015 18:23

So with the economy on the up, mortgage rates one of the lowest they have ever been, unemployment down - so why is the alternative worse....

Very much the same could be said of the period immediately before the 2010 election, couldn't it?

This is a joke right? Op your opinion of him shows that you haven't really done much research into him. I am sorry but I am laughing so much at "he has 2 kitchens because he is Jewish" when the 'bacon sarnie-gate' was a huge story.
