I've waded in. Couldn't resist.

TrojanWhore · 13/12/2014 22:05

I tend to hide threads with 'lighthearted' in the title.

They're (usually) repetitive shite anyhow, and I am also afraid the urge to be sarky would become irresistible.

listed · 13/12/2014 22:06

Ha! I've just RTFT and you got deleted!

Badass Smile

listed · 13/12/2014 22:07

But but but sarky wasn't just allowed, it used to be encouraged?!

WHAT HAPPENED!!?? ShockShockShock

MincePionaMumsnet · 13/12/2014 22:08

Evening funlovers. Just checking in to make Absolutely Sure this is a thread inspired by other threads and not a TAAT? Which would need deleting? Hmmmm?

NoelleHawthorne · 13/12/2014 22:10

no general ones

But TAATs aren't always deleted.

And anyway it isn't. Nothing to see here

XmasTimeMammariesandWine · 13/12/2014 22:12

It was a TAAT

Tiredemma · 13/12/2014 22:12

(only joking...lighthearted)
Smile

usualsuspectsparkly3 · 13/12/2014 22:17

Theres not much point in posting on MN if you can't be sarky.

MincePionaMumsnet · 13/12/2014 22:17
BaronessBomburst · 13/12/2014 22:19

Now start a thread asking if you should go to A&E or phone NHS direct.

XmasTimeMammariesandWine · 13/12/2014 22:21

These trolls are getting good...they can even impersonate MNHQers now

LongDistanceLove · 13/12/2014 22:24

And now mummy mumsnet is here to save us from ourselves. Ffs.

XmasTimeMammariesandWine · 13/12/2014 22:25

I don't think you wanted to say that...bye, been nice knowing you

OnIlkleyMoorBahTwat · 13/12/2014 22:29

I want to know about the glass plates too.

Is the trigger warning if something is potentially very upsetting or could remind a poster of a traumatic event? I would give examples but fear I would trigger.

While I understand the reasoning, there are so many things that could affect lots of people, surely it's not expected or possible to put a warning in front of anything that might upset someone, somewhere?

LeopardInABobbleHat · 13/12/2014 22:44

But Glass Plates are only going to upset people who were there at the time.

I do so love the MN Collective Long Memory Grin

knackered69 · 13/12/2014 22:52

The glass plate in my microwave bit me the other day and I needed 3 stitches - just saying...

LeopardInABobbleHat · 13/12/2014 22:59

How did it do that, knackered?

knackered69 · 13/12/2014 23:04

Ach - I washed it in very hot water and a chunk came away as I washed round the edge rather vigorously...

Please ring 101 Hun, the police will log your neighbours empty crisp wrapper blowing into your garden, then if they dare try it again, like with a Kit Kat wrapper or something it will be on RECORD.

Update us when you've done it plz.

Have you rang the police?

Anything op???

Some people just don't want to help themselves!!

ithoughtofitfirst · 14/12/2014 03:02

No one says "stabby" any more.
I used to hate that.
