Mumsnet is mentioned very frequently in the press. It doesn't surprise me in the slightest that people without children come and have a look.
Considering that it is a massive site where everything under the sun is discussed, much of it nothing to do with parenting, it doesn't surprise me that people choose to stay.
I don't think you really have to be a parent to talk about tv shows, ask about recipes, get advice about your relationship, share jokes, talk about mental health, swap details about campsites, discuss different weight loss plans, debate feminism, ask advice about ebay, talk money matters, chat about chickens, dogs, cats, horses and rabbits, gossip about celebrities, enthuse about the world cup, swap travel tips...
Frankly, I am only surprised that more people aren't here!
