How would you even find the place? I'd imagine they googled something and stumbled upon a thread and stuck around. Am I right?

I'd call it just The Net.

ZingOfSeven · 08/11/2014 19:03

The Net

great film. watched not long ago actually.

but don't people use it as a synonym for the Internet? hmm. I'd be a Netter (natter, nutter) me no likeyGrin

Only1scoop · 08/11/2014 19:07

Pretty.... my spelling of site in my previous post was far more embarrassing than your idea Grin

ZingOfSeven · 08/11/2014 19:11

Andrewofgg · 08/11/2014 19:41

AllOfUsNet?

Joe3578 · 08/11/2014 19:50

I'm a childless man. I like the range of topics being discussed, and a lot of people on here seem quite bright. I'm a guy who prefers female company and conversation generally, so I like the fact that majority of the posters are female.

Only1scoop · 08/11/2014 20:09

Wow Joe a man without dc posting here Shock

You a most welcome Smile

Only1scoop · 08/11/2014 20:10

That would be 'are'

Obviously I'm one of the less 'intelligent' of the MN community Confused

Joe3578 · 08/11/2014 20:10

Thanks Only1scoop :)

Pandora37 · 08/11/2014 20:42

I don't have children but I work with families so I'm interested in pregnancy, childbirth and the early years of raising children. I rarely contribute to those threads but I do read them sometimes.

I stayed because I like the variety of topics and the mental health boards are helpful. Oh and I like to dish out advice in relationships even though my own love life is an absolute disaster.

ZingOfSeven · 08/11/2014 21:18

Joe

hi! I'm glad you're here. Don't ever go awaySmile

needtomanup · 08/11/2014 22:56

As I work with children I find it interesting to hear a parent's point of view on certain issues. Also find a lot of topics universal, you don't need to be a parent to have issues with neighbours/ parking/ family and the like. Gosh you sound very narrow minded!

RudeBarbandCustard · 09/11/2014 09:16

Joe

Just wandering back here to say hooray and welcome.

I'm quite sure there are many more men, childless or otherwise. That's what anonymous usernames are for.

Still amused that some people actually believe that all of the people commenting on their threads about lady bits, breastfeeding etc are actually all women with children - bit naive isn't it!

zeezeek · 09/11/2014 19:41

Can I vote for vipernet please Grin

Lweji · 09/11/2014 22:47

Actually, I'm for vipernet too.

Oh, yes, there are many men. We sometimes are graced (or plagued, depending on whether they are nice or sexist pigs) with their presence in Relationships.

IamtheZombie · 09/11/2014 22:59

How about ZombieNet? Grin Grin Grin

ZingOfSeven · 10/11/2014 02:29

you didn't read my reply to your first post Z

tsk tskSad

Thumbwitch · 10/11/2014 03:34

What about Znet then? or Zednet?
I was going to be smart and suggest zythumnet, for the last word in forums, as zythum is the last word in the dictionary (the one I have anyway) but some bugger already has that!

And then I could be Zthumbwitch. Grin
