Is this rude or am I overreacting?

I've been seeing a guy for about a month. We get on really well and he's being staying at mine a few nights a week. Some nights he suggests it some nights its me.

Any way decided that tonight he would stay at home to give us a chance to miss each other (cheesy I know). He messaged a little while go saying he's coming over he really wants to see me. Then says he's not really coming. Fair enough I get gusset sense of humour.

He then said. I do wanna come but I'll have a shot sleep.

I said. Nice.

He said he said he didn't mean it like that. It's because there's a fly in the room! Confused

So I said it's fine. Bit pissed off and actually offended tbh!

Then he asks should he come over and I said no I don't want you to come if you don't want to!

He's pissed off now. I'm pissed off too.

Am I being over sensitive or is what he said rude?

Wouldn't bother replying to his messages tonight!

He needs a grip

Darquesse · 24/09/2014 22:45

Where is the fly? I think you have both over reacted and are being silly tbh.

Lifesalemon · 24/09/2014 22:46

Is it a pet fly? Can't you just get rid of it. although it may be worth keeping the fly and getting rid of the boyfriend

amyhamster · 24/09/2014 22:46

I think you both need a good nights sleep ;)

ReallyOTT · 24/09/2014 22:47

He rang me and I didn't answer it. Then he messaged and said
Do want you want then I'm going to sleep. Night.

So I replied
Hope it's a fantastic sleep for you. Night.

Immature I know but it felt goodGrin

He's really pissed me offHmm

grocklebox · 24/09/2014 22:50

pilates · 24/09/2014 22:53

I'm confused, he didn't want to stay over because you had a fly in the room?Confused

BitOutOfPractice · 24/09/2014 22:54

I'm exhausted reading that! I think you both need to grow up a bit!

There's a fly in what room? And it's relevant because?
Sorry I'm not really following the thread of what you said very well.

BobPatandIgglePiggle · 24/09/2014 22:56

I assume you're both very young? I couldn't stand all the pettiness from either side tbh.

mommathatwearspink · 24/09/2014 22:56

What...?

ReallyOTT · 24/09/2014 22:57

GrinGrin A fly in the bedroom which apparently is causing him to have a "shit" sleep!

OP posts:
ButternutBosc · 24/09/2014 22:57

I think you're both really over reacting, perhaps from the lack of sleep?

Floggingmolly · 24/09/2014 22:58

Have you been at the cooking sherry, op?

Paraibalove · 24/09/2014 22:58

ott.

I'm laughing mostly at gusset though. Good old autocorrect

pilates · 24/09/2014 22:59

Can't you open the window & get rid of it?

ReallyOTT · 24/09/2014 23:00

Nah fuck it. Like pp said I'd rather have this fly for company tonight. Smile
