If I saw him kick my cat. She was just peeing in his pretentious little walled garden on his drive. What a complete arsehole. But that is not where I would kick him SmileAngry rant over.

IM assuming he threatened to kick your cat and your not just jumping to conclusions?

xena26 · 01/07/2014 17:05

I think a good kick to his family jewels would sort him out.

dingit · 01/07/2014 17:08

Yes he threatened, so I threatened back.

Problem was I was in my slippers, so couldn't do much damage. Will have to invest in some steel cap boots Smile

Maybe you shouldnt have got a pet and then it go pissing on other peoples property?

Rissolesfortea · 01/07/2014 17:11

YANBU, I would have said the same if someone threatened any of my cats.

dingit · 01/07/2014 17:12

It's a teeny bit of cat piss in a hole, she digs and covers it. She is a member of my family, maybe I should go and give one of his family a kicking?

crazynanna · 01/07/2014 17:13

Territt maybe the neighbour should get a conscience before threatening to kick defenceless animals

fluffyraggies · 01/07/2014 17:15

Is it wee, or is the cat shitting in his garden?

No excuse for kicking an animal. However it was probably just an idle threat.

TillyTellTale · 01/07/2014 17:16

People who make threats are lucky if they only get proportional threats in return.

No-one threatening another person is reasonable, but sounds like he started it.

MangoBiscuit · 01/07/2014 17:18

One of my neighbours cats pisses me off no end. He's a vicious little shit, he craps on my lawn, no attempt to bury it, and he's hissed and swiped at DD1 and I. Would I spray it with a water pistol? Yes. Would I kick it? Hell no! Who does that?!?

Goblinchild · 01/07/2014 17:18

Offer him a water sprayer instead, give him something to repel your cat that won't hurt it.

MildDrPepperAddiction · 01/07/2014 17:18

I wouldn't want a cat peeing/pooing in my garden. Maybe don't have pets/family members who do if you can't handle your neighbours irritation.

MrsTerryPratchett · 01/07/2014 17:19

I HATE our neighbours cats using our garden as a toilet. HATE IT. People who want to harm animals, however, should be locked up.

Lj8893 · 01/07/2014 17:19

Yanbu at all.

however, i can understand him being annoyed about your cat using his garden as a toilet

dingit · 01/07/2014 17:25

I don't think she does often. She's mainly in our garden. This is the neighbour across the road, so I'm worried about her running in front of a car.

I hate snakes, but if there was one in our garden, I wouldn't harm it, or the foxes that shit everywhere in our garden. ( although I do like the foxes)

Birdsgottafly · 01/07/2014 17:27

Who did he say it to?

If he was looking at the cat, thinking he was alone, then I wouldn't of bothered to respond (I often shout and swear at my devil of a cat, (whilst carrying out her bidding)).

If he said it to you, then I would most definitely if threatened him back.

I would happily come to blows over my dog.

dingit · 01/07/2014 17:32

He said it to me, also saying he bloody hates the things. What a charmer.

OP posts:
SirChenjin · 01/07/2014 17:36

Cats are hateful critters - don't blame him one iota for telling you he hates the bloody things. They are a PITA.

Would I kick a cat? Nope, but I throw things at the one that shits in my garden and terrorises our guinea pig and the birds in the nesting box.

KatieKaye · 01/07/2014 17:37

What a wanker.
If he does ever kick her I believe a knee on the balls is equally effective if you kick your foot out and up at the moment of impact.

HarrietSchulenberg · 01/07/2014 17:37

When I was a teenager my neighbours told my dad they would poison our cat if it walked (walked!) across their garden again.

I told the neighbours I would poison them if they harmed my cat.

Cue extended row and lengthy pointed ignoring session from all parties. Which was uncomfortable for all concerned, seeing as they all lived in a tiny little road.

Finola1step · 01/07/2014 17:39

He is BU to threaten your cat.

YABU to threaten him.

Cats peeing in your garden when they are not your cats is bloody annoying.

Case closed raps gavel

TillyTellTale · 01/07/2014 17:40

MrsTerryPratchett Oooh, you're on a cat thread! Have you read The Unadulterated Cat by Mr Pratchett?

MammaTJ · 01/07/2014 17:40

Territt16 , how do you suggest people stop cats from peeing where they like?

I am waiting for this enlightenment with interest.

Birdsgottafly · 01/07/2014 17:42

Then you were well within your rights to tell him straight.

Obviously you care about your pet, so are going to be upset by someone threatening to physically harm it.
