Beyond the Scottish sun is exactly the same edition with a few Scottish columnists and Scottish footie in forts pages, no idea why they bother, Scotland aren't fans of them either.

Obviously I have my own personal reasons for not reading the s*n as I pointed out earlier on the thread but really every paper has their own agenda with what they print and how the word it which is why I don't read any of them in a world of 24hr news I don't really see the need for newspapers

A Sun journalist contacted a health charity I'm involved with and promised a sympathetic piece about the condition, a fee for the interviewees and travel expenses. Interviewees turned up for the photoshoot to discover it was actually for a "point and laugh at the freaks" style piece . AFAIK they still haven't received the fee or expenses, and the journalist is no longer answering her phone. Complaints have gone to the PCC, thankfully as far as we can tell the article was never published, but one more reason why I posted my copy back to them today.

There are some pretty weird laws in printing so it wouldn't surprise me. My only query and worry would be whether they have printed it on the basis that it is an advertising leaflet rather than a newspaper (and could argue the case based on the number of pages) however that would be a potentially weak defence as they refer to it as a "historic edition" which by implication suggests they view it themselves as another edition of their normal output - a newspaper.

Oh and the last edition of the NoftW was in a similar vein with regard to their proud history, so that doesn't surprise me.

Just got ours. Straight in recycling along with the rest of the junk mail RM Deliver now.
