I think I have finally battered my OH into pegging me. I know we will need loads of lube but does anyone have any other advice? Must admit I'm nervous to find out what her choice of strap on is lol

Gosh, I am spending for too much time on here today.

My DH loves pegging but he never does it properly as I do it and it takes him bloody ages to peg just do one load!

ocelet thank you, I shall embrace boldly the variety, although perhaps not as much as the Branleuse household does.

Judyjp I wonder if they had the same levels of satisfaction and if so, does it really matter?

So envious of steam press. I have a little round thingy to dangle socks from which I got from Poundland. It is a bit fragile though and the bits you dangle from get all tangled up.

Currently working on my futility room which will soon have a heated Lakeland airer next to a dehumidifier.

We get funny smells in our street so it's not always possible for outdoor pegging. However even in summer a dehumidifier keeps air moving and will dry clothes, and I don't need to switch the airer on to use the hanging facilities.

Does anyone else think this thread hasn't gone the way the OP intended...?

I am currently mourning a lost opportunity for pegging whilst I was at DSs rugby this morning. If I'd put a load on over night, I could have pegged outdoors and have it dry by now :(

I have done some magnificent pegging today. I can watch it from where I'm sitting, flapping in the breeze.

I didn't know you could get strap-on peg bags; brill idea. Can you buy these strsp-ons in Home Bargains?

I live in a flat and am thus denied the joys of pegging. When I go to visit my mother, one of the highlights is the opportunity to really get stuck into some old-fashioned pegging. She has a pole-hoist line, it's very exciting.

Branleuse , this thread is not about tent pegging and you jolly well know it. Shame on you for derailing.

Word of warning for all you peggers.

If you are using a rotary washing line in high winds, please make sure it is well secured. My friend had a pegging disaster in the summer. A sudden gust blew the rotary dryer over and it ended up almost smashing her back door in. Also there was half a dozen peg casualites too.

Anniegetyourgun Oh but using tent pegs is so very satisfying. Sometimes you have to wiggle them a bit first to get them in, but if you persevere they just slide in smoothly.

Pegging using washing pegs just doesn't compare, regardless of whether you prefer wood or plastic.
