I think that many of us have been able to give up smoking thanks to e-cigs & vaping & are all feeling the positive results & want to spread the message.

Brilliant plenty i was hoping that was the case. Going to order 30 of orange creme then, me and OH both like it - It's like vaping the orange creme quality street/roses!

And a few more testers i think. Apparently soft mint isnice so ordering OH one of those and im going to get another ginger bread and cherry pie.

Well, I've cleaned the clearo out, blown through it, flicked it, everything you've all said. It has stopped bubbling! However, it still doesn't like it if the liquid level drops much below 1.2ml. It's not a bad vape though.

I do find the crackling disconcerting. I suppose I'm used to the absolute silence with which the Ego C operates; both dd and dh commented on the noise of the clearo! No stealth vapes in church with it! (I'm still embarrassed that I actually did that .)

My cats don't like smoking but are completely indifferent to vaping. They do like toothpaste, and one cat will try to get his whole head in your mouth when you've just brushed your teeth. DH thinks it's hilarious and almost encourages it.

What flavour are you vaping which encourages your cat to enter the cloud? (Mint of some sort?)

I wonder if the BOGOF applies to their flavourings too. The flavours make up more than half of my cost per ml. If I can find JJ flavours to replace my favourite flavour art flavours then I'll be laughing.

I'm not sure that the cheesecake one is biscuity enough to replace cookie - maybe belgian waffle will be.

I really need to make myself use my other fruity flavours before I buy any more fruity ones including fruits of the forest :(

My cat loves tobacco - she acts like it's catnip. I have half a kilo in my drawer from my smoking days and left out on the bed after looking for something else in my drawer and came back to find the cat rubbing her face and drooling all over it.

She's also quite interested in my e liquids but only has a sniff at them. She doesn't seem fussed either way by my vaping.

Cantabile youve just reminded me that when i was a kid i would let the cockatiel sit with his head in my mouth... Hed sit there for hours. I was minging wasnt i lol.

Well my ecig finally turned green after 9 hours charging. I managed to work out what to do with it after watching a YouTube video linked to by a pp (so thank you for that).

I'm using a menthol 18mg that came free with the ecig. I'm really impressed so far! It does burn my throat a little but I think I'll get used to that in time or may switch to a lower nicotine. I'm really looking forward to receiving my JJ tester liquids. I bought them all in 30PG/70VG and 18mg so I'm hoping that will work for me.

I'm really hopeful that this will be the thing that works for me. Thank you so much to the op for this thread and to all the incredibly helpful and patient posters for answering my questions. I'm sure I'll be back with more .

The 30:70 PG:VG should burn your throat less than what you have now. Bear in mind though that it will have less of a throat hit that the juice you probably have now (most are a higher PG than VG) so might feel less satisfying even if it's satisfying your nicotine craving.

What PG/VG mix are you all using?

Where there was a choice, I have been ordering everything at 50/50 as I had no idea, but I'm wondering about 70/30.

Plenty, I found that after a while I had acclimated to the apple flavour so got some concentrate and now I add a few drops later in the day when I've been vaping it all day and no longer taste it too well. I thought it was me! Does that not happen with non-fruit flavours? I fuess I don't like other flavours enough to use them for too long at a time.

I am gutted. Been getting a sore mouth and throat and tight chest from mine and looked up the ingredients in the hanseng lkquid and its got rose oil in it, which I am allergic too

I have ordered all my joosejuice liquids in 70/30 pg/vg. The only one im considering dropping to 60/40 on is the gingerbread but im going to see what its like in a few days because i did start using it straight away and most improve with a bit of steeping (leaving them to stand).

Dizzy, you have reminded me of a holiday we had where the landlady owned a cockatiel which she would encourage to do that too. She would also stick her tongue in its beak and they would waggle tongues together (yeuch). At least you were young. She wasn't.

Jux - He used to nibble my teeth. Ive seen people doing the tongue waggling thing though! Not something id be doing now lol, ive seen the sort of bugs birds can contract and i dont want to take the chance that they might be able to infect us.

plenty I asked the man in the shop about the iclear you have, (i was going off memory and said its like mine but with the top coil instead) he said the only time hes seen them do it is with the 30b of mine,(it started the weird messages again the other day) which turned out the seal on the atomizer was faulty so he replaced it. He said check the seals around the screw in parts because if it is ok for a few drags it sounds like somethings either weak like mine was, or youre screwing it on wonky as they have to be perfectly straight and really tightly closed. Other than that he said he doesnt know.

cantabile I bought a new ce4 clearo earlier just because i want another iclear16 but they have none in.

I see what you mean about the short wicks at the top. Tilted it almost horizintal if it isnt full seems to help.

Thanks Dizzy. I may try taking it all to bits and putting it back together again - this seems to be the clearo equivalent of turning it off and then on again

The posh fruit flavour I tried was Forest Affair. I think it's from T-Juice but I didn't buy it, it was passed on to me. It is slightly more flavourful than other fruit liquids I've tried but still not great. DH will probably like it though.

BigHairy, that sounds rotten. I didn't think oils were used in liquids. I bought some dekang rose flavour for a larf but haven't tried it yet. Out of interest, where did you find the ingredients list?

I went to a Eurovision party in London last night.

The bar was vaping friendly - lovely not to have to go outside.

I know when i take mine to bits plenty, i find it helps to hold it at eye level to screw it back together properly as itbdoesnt make full contact unless its screwed in perfectly.

I am loving the joosejuice flavours. Just got blueberry left but im nervius incase its still got that horrible soap taste.

Ordered 30ml of orange creme and some more testers. Softmint, cherry pie and bubblegum. Other bubblegums ive tried just seem to have a spearmint taste to them that overpowers everything and hangs around for ages after i swap flavours.

I've just bought some blueberry flavour . The guy on the stall said the Government are trying to ban vaping !!!!

Another question- I sometimes get liquid on my lips . I've just read the Joosejuice blurb about it being highly toxic shock . I won't get lip cancer will I ?

My Joose Juice stuff has arrived! Their BOGOF applies to 30ml too, so I now have 60ml each of gingerbread and of caramel! Luckily, I have also bought some empty 10ml bottles so I can decant (friend has all my 10ml bottles too! Haven't heard from him, so I have no idea whether he's enjoying vaping or not).

Doin, I've had a mouthful once or twice. Use lots of water to rinse. But tbh I think that is statutory blurb like "smoking kills" on fag packets. Yes nicotine is toxic, don't drink it. How much harm it does when the liquid gets on your skin depends very much on what concentration you have. If it's at 1.8% like I use, then it's not so bad. If it's one of the concentrates for mix-your-own then it's a different matter (but you wouldn't vape that stuff anyway).

Yes, the EU are debating it behind closed doors. Check out the links Plenty has been posting on this thread (and the last one too I think?). I've written to MPs, MEPs, and so on. I think a few others have too. The more of us who jump up and down and point out the idiocy (nicely!) the better!

So I've been vaping two days now and it's going well. I'm probably smoking 2/3 to 1/2 as much as I usually do. I smoke menthols so got a menthol tester included with my ecig.

My JJ liquids have arrived but need steeping. So I ordered a vanilla hangsen from eBay yesterday and amazingly it arrived today. I'm really keen to try it but only have one clearomiser with a bit of menthol residue in it. Should I clean it out or just top up with vanilla? I'm guessing the flavours will be a bit mixed.

Maybe I need some different clearomisers for the different flavours but again, I don't know what to buy .

My local shop never got back to me so maybe they're away or have gone bust.

Forgot to add that the battery is doing well. Still going strong on just one charge. I'll probably have to charge it today as I didn't want to leave it charging unsupervised overnight.

Argh! Just gone to message the seller of my ecig on eBay to see if they can recommend some replacement cleros and the listing has been removed. Judging by the blurb sellers include, they're not allowed to sell nicotine products so I'm guessing the seller has breached eBay rules . I was thinking of ordering another so I had a spare battery .

i dont think it matters mixing different flavours. i have two favourites and i mix them and when i tried one i didnt like i quickly put another one in to hide taste.
