GlaikitFizzog · 18/08/2013 22:56

I reckon gz is a no child wedding person because scweeming chiwdwen would spoil her pweshus speshl day!

knickernicker · 18/08/2013 23:01

She will never cringe about this. As far as she's concerned she's a benign pleasant character who's been let down by a few thoughtless people.
OP- has she ever behaved like this before?

Tilly333 · 18/08/2013 23:08

back off holiday and a thread 4... good going...! bloody ace!

LearningSNDad · 18/08/2013 23:40

I feel like an interloper having lurked watched all 4 threads from the start and only now putting my hat in the ring. Tidy you have been fantastically civilised from the start in the face of some egging on well meant advice on here. I would like to suggest though that you start threads 5 & 6 now though as the build up to the royal wedding could be hectic (with all that decorating avoidance going on) and I'm sure nobody wants to miss anything as of next weekend.

So that anybody in your area knows that they've come into contact with the "happy" couple next weekend, is there anybody you can drop some hints to who isn't de-invited about having "Just Glued" on the back of their car/carriage?

Thumbwitch · 19/08/2013 04:25

Oh I like that idea, LearningSNDad! With trailing pritt sticks, UHU tubes and pots of school glue...Grin

Blueandwhitelover · 19/08/2013 09:46

So surely someone somewhere must know someone going to a wedding next weekend with a 50s theme, no children and a groom who is a teacher??
(so tempted to reactivate my youandyourwedding account and ask...)

EdwiniasRevenge · 19/08/2013 10:30

Or "Glued together in holy matrimony"

Subtle but with a deeper meaning :o

prettybird · 19/08/2013 20:28

Thread Number Four is nearly half full and we haven't even got to the wedding yet! Grin

farrowandbawl · 19/08/2013 20:31

OMG Pretty, I've only just noticed that.

mynameismskane · 19/08/2013 22:36

Please! Please set up an anonymous email and send her links to this thread...PLEASE!

Mimishimi · 20/08/2013 00:46

I think with 'youandyourwedding' you can just browse the forums without having to be a member. There was a poster who is in the medical field who us having a wedding this weekend but I can't find her posts now. It was 'lilms-something-2b". She hadn't posted anything about Having a themed wedding or decorating problems though Grin.

PuggyMum · 20/08/2013 18:14

Ooh there's a thread asking the best way to sell a job lot of sylvanian families.

Should we all chip in and decorate the venue?

IKnewHouseworkWasDangerous · 20/08/2013 18:23

I saw that thread. Even opened it up to comment -sell to tidydancer. But thought better of it on the offchance they hadnt seen these threads

mindyourownbusiness · 20/08/2013 18:57

Marking my spot - veteran of threads 1,2 and 3.

Mimi you must find that poster again - now think , concentrate hard , now try and imagine you are reading that thread now on 'youandyourwedding' - now zoom in on that post again and cut and paste it and put it on here read the posters name at the top. Now when I click my fingers you will wake up and remember everything Grin

TidyDancer · 20/08/2013 23:14

Evening all!

Just checking in to say nothing more yet! Will let you know of any developments as and when. :)

OP posts:
ChameleonCircuit · 20/08/2013 23:20

Oh Tidy, you tease! I just saw you'd commented and raced here thinking there was an update!

kiwimumof2boys · 21/08/2013 09:01

Marking place . . .
This saga is better than any TV !

prettybird · 21/08/2013 13:25

Does anyone else get the music from Jaws playing in their head when reading this? Grin

Not sure if it is the threat of GZ appearing and scaring everyone or all the vultures MNers circling awaiting the crash crash news of the "Wedding of the Year" to mix loads of metaphors WinkHmm which provokes the mental association. Grin

farrowandbawl · 21/08/2013 13:34

I get Michael Jacksons Thriller, only dubbed as Gluezilla. Grin

tinypumpkin · 21/08/2013 15:30

Genius with the Gluezilla / Thriller comment farrow. That has stuck in my mind. Giant sylvanians would fit nicely with a rendition of that I think.

FruOla · 21/08/2013 15:32

I doubt we'll hear anything more until the weekend now.

farrowandbawl · 21/08/2013 15:50

Giant zombie Sylvanians, set out in the Thriller group dance scene...around the dance floor and...lining up with the paps along the red carpet, two each side of the main door, one by the cake, one behind where Gluezilla sits, one in the toilets, 5 half buried in the grounds for the photos... OMG. It just HAS to be done!

wickeddevil · 21/08/2013 16:32

Tidy just so you know we are going on holiday on Sunday and might not have good access to t'internet.
Please could you update promptly for me before we go ?
