wicked you are going on holiday on the weekend of the century ? Hmm the day we have all been waiting for when we could well get an update hopefully saying Gluezillas wedding went tits up and ended up with a custard pie fight and at least half a dozen arrests can you not cancel ???? !!

wickeddevil · 21/08/2013 18:42

I know I know
That's why I need the update. Please Tidy.

mindyourownbusiness · 21/08/2013 18:59

< slaps wicked > Pull yourself together - has our leader of our newly formed Sylvanian dance troupe Tidy let us down so far ? No !
Well then !

knickernicker · 21/08/2013 22:31

There is more fluff than substance in this thread. If you cut out the Sylvanian references and requests for updates there's not a lot going on really.

bookforgoddaughter · 21/08/2013 22:57

Oh, knickernicker, enter into the spirit. Do you have thread jealousy?

ExitPursuedByABear · 21/08/2013 23:04
Shock

Since when did threads need a substance quotient?

ZingWantsCake · 21/08/2013 23:20

indeed exit

knicker

are you trying to sabotage thread because you are Gluezilla?!Shock

Grin
ChameleonCircuit · 21/08/2013 23:21

And what units would one use for it?

Bumpotato · 22/08/2013 00:15

You couldn't make this up I suppose you could but YKWIM

EagleRiderDirk · 22/08/2013 06:16

I have a busy weekend which included my own wedding but I know I'm going to be checking in for updates. still pretty sure I'm not gluezilla, mainly because I don't have a venue that requires decorating!

wickeddevil · 22/08/2013 09:07

Eagle pleased to see that some have their priorities right.

I hope you have a wonderful wedding. Congratulations Flowers Wine

wickeddevil · 22/08/2013 09:10

Chameleon there is a ? Scofield scale for chillies. Perhaps we could grade threads from bland to hot hot hot ?

justmyview · 22/08/2013 09:17

I grant you this thread is amusing, but I'm a little uncomfortable that OP seems to be driving so much pleasure from these threads

This is beginning to feel a bit like knitting at the guillotine to me. I'm out

ZingWantsCake · 22/08/2013 10:08

Grin Grin Grin @ knitting at the guillotine !

Notafoodbabyanymore · 22/08/2013 10:22

justmyview I think that the OP actually just started off feeling pretty upset and pissed off at being treated like shit by someone she thought was a friend, but as things have unfolded, this person has increasingly revealed a very different side to her character. OP, like us, has been more and more incredulous and gone along with the joke, but I suspect, deep down, is pretty shocked and saddened by the whole business.

Sometimes you have to laugh or you'll cry!

Sorry Tidy if I'm misrepresenting you. Smile

Notafoodbabyanymore · 22/08/2013 10:24

PS, knitting at the guillotine is hilarious.

onedev · 22/08/2013 10:41

Totally agree with you Notafood.

ExitPursuedByABear · 22/08/2013 10:51

Click clack click clack

FunLovinBunster · 22/08/2013 11:07

Sitting here on my big fat butt knit one purl one.
Get over yourself, justmyview!

ZingWantsCake · 22/08/2013 18:22
TidyDancer · 22/08/2013 18:24

I do feel sad about the demise of a friendship over this, but the fact is that it's not my fault. I can either sit around being upset that I have lost my friend, or giggle along with everyone else at her stupidity. No knitting at the guillotine going on here!

We've all had a laugh on these threads over the past few weeks, which is not what I expected when I started the first one. I am happy to say that my melancholy at this situation has given way to some real belly laughs at some of the funny comments and poetry. Once again, thank you all for making a horrid situation so much better!

Still nothing more from gluezilla yet unfortunately. Daily wedding countdowns on Facebook aside, of course!

can't knit anyway

CorrineFoxworth · 22/08/2013 19:24

Grin at crocheted zombie. These threads have run away from me lately. Are we still doing the Glue-Sniffing Wedding Thriller Dance?

farrowandbawl · 22/08/2013 19:28

We certainly are Corrine - with added giant zombie Sylvanians.
