Would be an interesting film title... "The Uninviteds"...

Tiredemma · 17/08/2013 09:06

try and sabotage the entrance music-

get this playing as she wanders bewildered down the aisle.

Tiredemma · 17/08/2013 09:08

1 min 42 seconds in- sums it all up.

DidoTheDodo · 17/08/2013 09:16

Oh it worth getting up this morning for this alone.
Am open mouthed at the gall of GZ.
I vote for all the disenfranchised (ie STD losers) to flashmob the wedding in zombie outfits.

tidy, is it wrong of me to want to know the exact date, time and address of GZ's bunfest. Not so I can go along and gawp, of course?

prettybird · 17/08/2013 09:34

Main update at 20:53 last night.

Essentially GZ has supposedly been let down "at the last minute" Hmm and is very upset, asking "why doesn't anyone want to help me?". Fortunately Hunfriend, who now knows all, had to decline Wink the kind offer to "help" as she would be in Paris that weekend. Instead she suggested engaging a proper wedding planner.

FruOla · 17/08/2013 09:51

I'm still wondering where GlueParents are in all of this? Presumably Glue hasn't told them anything and has also sworn GlueSis to secrecy. Otherwise GlueParents would have stepped in ages ago and told her to shape up, stop pestering uninvited friends and perhaps help her find another way of decorating - or be less ambitious with her decorating ideas.

I mean, I can't imagine any parent sitting by the sidelines watching their daughter self-destruct over some extremely ill thought out wedding plans.

Possibly, but in that case I could imagine that GlueMum would also have been emailing Tidy and Hunfriend Grin

chateauferret · 17/08/2013 10:04

Obviously even though you can't go etiquette demands that the Uninvited send the bride and groom a message to be read out by the best man (another poor sod who probably knows nothing of all this) after his speech. How about:

This wedding is utterly shite
Because you thought that you had the right
To get people like me
Working for you for free
When we weren't good enough to invite.

Inertia · 17/08/2013 10:06

I'm wondering whether the rest of the uninvited are photographers, florists, harpists etc , and gluezilla has now realised that her plan to dupe her friends into providing services for free has backfired...

prettybird · 17/08/2013 10:17

The really sad thing in all of this is that most people understand that choices have to made in determining the invitees overlooking the faux pas of the STD cards - and, if GZ were a true friend, who saw these people regularly, may well have volunteered to help a bit

What is inconsiensably RUDE is expecting people to do do. The clue is in the word "volunteer". Grin

prettybird · 17/08/2013 10:17

"to do so " Blush

ZingWantsCake · 17/08/2013 11:12

I'd love the priest to ask her on the they:
"Gluezilla, will you take GlueGroom to be your lawful wedded husband - and btw are you high on glue?"

GZ: "I DO" ! Grin Grin Grin Grin

ZingWantsCake · 17/08/2013 11:13

why thank you Mistress !Wink

SarahAndFuck · 17/08/2013 11:14

What did Hunfriend say when you told her you were the one who "badly let Gluezilla down at the last minute?"

I can't believe the cheek of her saying that. You weren't even ordered to asked to help until the last minute, yet she makes it sound like you had it all agreed somewhere other than only inside her own head for ages and that you backed out.

tinypumpkin · 17/08/2013 11:17

Absolutely loving the uninvited song. Genius Grin

aladdinsane · 17/08/2013 11:46

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 17/08/2013 11:55

Piss MySelf Laughing, aladdinsane.

DameDeepRedBetty · 17/08/2013 12:01

Pissing My Self Laughing aladdinsane

tinypumpkin · 17/08/2013 12:48

Zing, I think gluezilla should respond with 'I glue' rather than 'I do'.

What about 'to stick together from this day forward, for better, for worse...' ?

Can we get sylvanians in there somewhere too?

Blondeshavemorefun · 17/08/2013 12:49

yah - you know people who are going tidy :) - sorry didnt mean to rub it in

we obv want all details, down to what gz dress was like, her food and then hall decorations - ideally a pic of them would be nice if you can bribe ask a guest nicely Grin

pigletmania · 17/08/2013 13:24

So all the not god enoughs to invite, should have to give up their precious time and alter arrangements so that they can help Mrs Meeeee. Is her hide thicker tan a Rhinos

RustyBear · 17/08/2013 13:28

So she's only invited gods, piglet? Explains a lot ... Grin
