Don't know if anyone has asked this before. (difficult to remember with this many posts!), but is it possible that Tidy wasn't the first person who was asked and said no? Perhaps Gluezilla has been steadily working her way through The Twenty?

I reckon Gluezilla had someone lined up and had to pull out, and has been frantically going the twenty to get someone, probably convincing herself that Tidy will do it, then went to hunfriend.
