Russell Howard's apparently insurmountable breast milk issues...

I love RH...every last thing about him....except his apparently massive mental problem regarding breast milk.

Every other show he seems to be pulling faces, gagging and generally freaking out about it...

Russell, darling, it's just milk sweetie. Milk designed by nature for humans to drink. I mean you do realise that cow's milk come out of cow mammary glands don't you?

Maybe you could redress the balance and do a set on how utterly disgusting it is for anyone to drink, see, think about or generally come into contact with cow's milk.....

AIBU to think RH should stop with the whole BM is disgusting meme and if he can't say anything reasonable on the topic then silence on the matter would work just fine?

I really don't think it's to be taken seriously. I think people take things to personally. Remember it's not actually aimed at you. Are Justin bieber fans offended when he rips him to pieces?

No humour is funny if you seek to look to deep take it too personally.

Bumpotato · 08/06/2013 14:32

With Russell Howard being a comedian and everything is there any chance that he was joking?

Just saying.

HazeltheMcWitch · 08/06/2013 14:41

His sister's an MNer, isn't she? Hello, if you're reading this!

I don't find his comments on breast feeding in adults upsetting (the caveat is that I've not seen that much of his stuff, so have no idea if he brings it up over and over...). He talks about human extremes, doesn't he? And adults drinking breastmilk is quite extreme?

I'm with the many on this thread who don't find him that funny. And he's even more insufferable, IMHO, since he got all muscly and orange.

ICBINEG · 08/06/2013 19:10

ekk! really?

Although who knew he had a sister? I mean he endlessly bangs on about his brother...but I don't remember a sister ever being mentioned....

I've thought this too. He did a bit about that breastfeding doll (which is a bit silly imo) but he compared it to children playing at porn. Erm, bfing is not pornographic mate.

Also his mum says at a family dinner "everyone here has sucked on my tits" or some such charming phrasing.

Issues.

Leave Russell Howard alone please!!!

RiotsNotDiets · 09/06/2013 00:49

His sister is in him & her, her character is a stone cold bitch and incredibly thick. She's hilarious.

TheBirdsFellDownToDingADong · 09/06/2013 10:28

I don't care if his sister is a MNer. I'm not going to say someone is funny and intelligent and witty when actually, they're crap.

Sycophantic, much?

I don't actually dislike the boy. I just don't find him remotely funny. In fact, so generally unfunny he is a bit cringey to watch, because you are just waiting for the waving-arms-round and doing-moronic-voice moment to come. Which it will. Always. Because he's now't if not nice and predictable.

HazeltheMcWitch · 09/06/2013 17:08

TheBirdsFellDownToDingADong - Sycophantic, much?

Er - no. Not much at all. None in my opinion.
Where is this sycophancy of which you speak?
