We filled a thread, so here's another!

House of Fraser stock quite a few brands including Fantasie and Freya. Their fitters can be very hit and miss so I'd avoid their help!

SorrelForbes · 01/03/2013 09:22

BraStop often does free delivery to Europe. You could also try some of the Polish brands like Ewa Michalak.

IcaMorgan · 01/03/2013 09:27

I took my friend to Bravissimo yesterday and she went from a 36B/C to a 32FF

Taking another friend bra shopping today but I will have to do the measurements

NightmareWalking · 01/03/2013 09:27

I have a possibly dumb question: that perfect fit advice - does it apply to non wired bras? It was suggested on the last thread that I try a 28HH but I need a nursing bra and theyre all soft cups in that size - I've never had a non wired bra that's fitted comfortably.

Abra1d · 01/03/2013 09:28

WHen you've measured your overbust, how do you work out the cup size? Is a certain difference, eg, 5cm, a D? 6cm DD?

BaronessBomburst · 01/03/2013 09:29

Please help! I knew what size I was pre-DC (32G) as I was saved by Bravissimo about 15 years ago. Breastfeeding I was a 34K Shock and now I've settled down to 33 - 45, whatever that may be.....! I live abroad and trying different sizes by post is just too expensive.

StatisticallyChallenged · 01/03/2013 09:30

abra1d - it's basically 1inch=1cup - so the difference between the band and your overbust.

The Bra-lphabet goes A,B,C,D,DD,E,F,FF,G,GG,H,HH,J,JJ,K,KK,L...in most UK brands. AA is less than 1" difference

Could I have some help please. I used to wear a 34F (measured at house of Fraser) but I have put on a bit of weight and my bras are digging into me and leaving marks.

I measured myself this morning and I'm a 33.5 and 43. What size do I need? I've found that Freya seem to fit me the best, but am happy to try other brands.

SorrelForbes · 01/03/2013 09:34

Baroness try a 32J, 32HH, 34HH and a 34H

BaronessBomburst · 01/03/2013 09:35

So that would put me at a 34HH. I have a 34J that pretty much fits so it's more the model than the cup that's wrong then. Not bad - Bravissimo fitted me with the J-cup over the telephone! :)

SorrelForbes · 01/03/2013 09:35

micku5 try a 34G, 34GG, 32GG and 32H

SorrelForbes · 01/03/2013 09:36

The cup is so tricky get right. I have a range in my drawer from FF to H

StatisticallyChallenged · 01/03/2013 09:37

Bravissimo are pretty good that way! A 34J fitting is absolutely fine, I have everything from GG-JJ in my bra-drobe.

Somebody has tweeted M&S

micku5 · 01/03/2013 09:38

Thank you. Will be out later to try on some new bras, the 3 that I have been wearing are looking a bit worse for wear now.

BaronessBomburst · 01/03/2013 09:38

Thanks Forbes! I mean Sorrel.

I knew a Forbes once.
