We filled a thread, so here's another!

Furball I know, I'm sure it's true, it just blows my mind! I have a whole slew of online stores open in my browser (with good return policies just in case, since I feel like bra design varies so much).

Beksybob · 01/03/2013 08:43

How do you know you will get used to having a tight band of material strapped to your chest and it won't just be uncomfortable forever? Sounds uncomfortable!

Also, are Next bras inherantly crap? Because they're well cheap in the clearance sale, and if you put them on your store card and return them if they don't fit, you never have to cough up...

doobiedoobiedoobie · 01/03/2013 08:48

And on the same lines as that, how are supermarket type bras?

Honestly, we have no spare cash so asda's kind of my price range! Presumably a proper fitting bra from there will be better than nothing? I'm still in shock tbh. I have empty, smallish boobs, how I'll fill an f/g I have no idea!

But will give it a go and report back tomorrow.... Thank you!!

SorrelForbes · 01/03/2013 08:50

KeatsiePie. You need to remember that the cup volume on a 28E is much smaller than the cup volume on, for example, a 34E.

So, the cup on your new 28E is roughly equal to the cup on a 30DD, 32D, 34C, 36B, 38A

SorrelForbes · 01/03/2013 08:52

doobie. Unfortunately I never get to try the bras from supermarkets or shops like Next as there bras always start at a 32/34 and I need a 30.

SorrelForbes · 01/03/2013 08:53

Straps slipping down and a band rubbing and feeling uncomfortable is a classic sign if a band that's too big.

Beksybob · 01/03/2013 08:57

I've ordered a 30 from Next, but it's not their own brand.

I've got band-rubbing going on in the 32B I'm wearing. I'd previously assumed it was because it's too tight and bought 34A. Now I know, it's actually too big. Bra shop at lunchtime!

GoingVerySlowlyMad · 01/03/2013 09:00

Can I get sized please 33 under 40 over. M&S have in a 38B but I'm really sore most of the time. Thanks!

StatisticallyChallenged · 01/03/2013 09:03

Going, try a 32FF, 32F, 34F and 34E

MrsHavisham · 01/03/2013 09:03

Help for me too please! Underbust 33.5, breasts 39. Thank you.

MrsHavisham · 01/03/2013 09:04

M and S said I'm 36A

SorrelForbes · 01/03/2013 09:05

Try a 34F, 34E, 32F and 32FF. I suspect the 32 will be better for you. Make sure you sort the bad size out first by trying it on back on front.

SorrelForbes · 01/03/2013 09:06

Mornin' SC.

StatisticallyChallenged · 01/03/2013 09:06

Morning SF!

OP posts:
SorrelForbes · 01/03/2013 09:08

MrsHavisham. Try a 34DD, 34E, 32E and a 32F.

GoingVerySlowlyMad · 01/03/2013 09:09

Seriously!! No that can't be right I'm really flat and droopy! Will give it a try if it helps with the pain! Can I get that size on the high street, I'm in NI so a bit more limited.

3monkeys3 · 01/03/2013 09:10

Ok! I am 30 (or a titch over) underneath and 41 over! I was fitted in bravissimo as 32f pre babies, but have been pregnant or bf for 5 years and now have no idea!

StatisticallyChallenged · 01/03/2013 09:11

If you have a debenhams they may well have them. Honestly, an F cup isn't huge when attached to a 32 back.

OP posts:
bettybyebye · 01/03/2013 09:11

Hello ladies, would be grateful if you could advise what size you think I might be. Last measures in bravissimo pre pregnancy as 32f. No longer bf-ing and need some new bras...

34.5 under bust and 42 at fullest part

Thanks!

StatisticallyChallenged · 01/03/2013 09:11

3Monkeys, I would put you in a 30H now.

OP posts:
StatisticallyChallenged · 01/03/2013 09:12

BettyByeBye - start with a 34FF

OP posts:
GoingVerySlowlyMad · 01/03/2013 09:14

I can see now that M&S do that size but I'll be damned if I'm giving them any more of my money. Will look in Debenhams, are House of Fraser any good as we have one of those.

MrsMeeple · 01/03/2013 09:16

Can anyone recommend online stores that have shipping to Europe (with good returns policies)? Would be much appreciated.

Thanks
bettybyebye · 01/03/2013 09:17

Thanks sc!

ssd · 01/03/2013 09:17
