Look at the last 39 threads and ask yourself is this normal or are people a bit silly?

I started a thread which in hindsight was a stupid question and I admitted I was being unreasonable and I was wrong after replies explaining and saying I was unreasonable.

I still got called a twat! Only on mumsnet but I do love the randomness of it all I came from the dark side with fluffiness and tickers which was worse

hf128219 · 26/01/2013 21:41

I think my question has been answered. A site I have been around for a long time proving no use or giving any humour whatsoever.

My favourite threads are the ones by people saying they can't cope with the housework/do the homework/cooking et al. But they spend about 5 hours a day on MN typing crap.

Well, are you being useful or funny? Genuine question. btw, if anyone wants to be useful, I;ve got an employment law question on the go...

amillionyears · 26/01/2013 21:42

Do you know all the answers op?

LadyBeagleEyes · 26/01/2013 21:43

Stat an interesting thread then Op, go on.

Sparklingbrook · 26/01/2013 21:45

Time to go then hf? If it's not amusing you any more. What do you want to talk about? Or maybe start a few threads that you think are a bit more high brow?

tethersend · 26/01/2013 21:45

Pull my finger.

AgentZigzag · 26/01/2013 21:46

But if you're favorite threads are 'how do I do the housework/cooking', what makes them not daft?

They're the same as the ones you listed as being posted by stupid uneducated people.

It does come across as a bit superior telling posters you think they're stupid and uneducated, are you not then?

habbibu · 26/01/2013 21:48

Sheless piggybacking on a thread - but I neeeeeeed help.

AgentZigzag · 26/01/2013 21:48

Ewwww, y'dirty uneducated fucker tethers

habbibu · 26/01/2013 21:48

Sheless? Bugger. Shameless.

amillionyears · 26/01/2013 21:49

I think you are ready to graduate from MN.

AgentZigzag · 26/01/2013 21:50

I'd love to habbibu, but I'm stupid.

Educated, but thick with it IYSWIM.

usualsuspect · 26/01/2013 21:51

BumpingFuglies · 26/01/2013 21:51

itsallinmyhead · 26/01/2013 21:51

Tethers Shock Grin

Agent got in there before I could grab it Wink

HecateWhoopass · 26/01/2013 21:52

I think it's fine.
You can find people talking about everything under the sun, by having a wander round the many, many topics.

I've found some amazing philosophical and theological debates, feminist discussions that have really educated me, fascinating insights into people's relationships, etc, etc.

I don't know what you're doing wrong to be unable to find any of that.

Do you just stick to aibu and chat?

habbibu · 26/01/2013 21:53

Oh, just bump it, Zigzag - make it look busy and interesting...

AgentZigzag · 26/01/2013 21:53

What will she graduate with amillion?

BSc in Hoiking with Covert Passive Aggression?

PoppyWearer · 26/01/2013 21:54

I am unashamedly educated, daft and completely lacking in common sense.

MN feels like home.

Blimey tethers, what have you been eating?

BumpingFuglies · 26/01/2013 21:55

Now then Agent be nice.

CaptainNancy · 26/01/2013 21:55

Habbibu! Lovely to see you! Smile

I am Envy of OneHundredSecondsOfSolitude.... oh for that many

tethersend · 26/01/2013 21:55

I know, Agent. It smells worse than France.

habbibu, I have posted on your thread with a meaningless collection of words which may or may not bear a passing resemblance to fact.

No need to thank me.

EduCated · 26/01/2013 21:55

You want educated people?

Look no further Wink
