For me it would probably be:

Not reading the OP properly and going off on a tangent
Pulling a thread totally OT in order to have a two way jokey conversation with someone else that goes on for pages and pages
Looking up someone's posting history and saying 'well on 5th April 2006 you said this and now you're saying that.

"I didn't want to read and run"

Psssst....they can't see you, you know?

Grin that is so funny.

LadyBeagleEyes · 24/01/2013 16:53

I loved Hully's neighbour one.
Is it still around?

GetOrf · 24/01/2013 16:54

What is dead neighbours?

Helen Daniels?

JamesAndTheGiantBanana · 24/01/2013 16:54

This annoying trend for writing wtaf. (What the actual fuck) It doesn't add anything, it just sounds stupid.

When people have to apologise for wanting to say hug, or hun. I'm not someone who particularly wants to do this but I don't give a shit if people want to speak in an affectionate way. Same goes for spelling mistakes. I'm very good at spelling but if you spell things incorrectly I won't judge you for it. (Text speak notwithstanding...)

Naice. Vair. Just stop it, arseholes!

atthewelles · 24/01/2013 16:55

Oh God I hate vair.

ExitPursuedByABear · 24/01/2013 16:56

The dead neighbours was funny.

Why did Fabby go?

usualsuspect · 24/01/2013 16:56

Posters that start threads that they know will be contentious just to get a bun fight going.

These threads have usually been done a million times before and the OP knows it.But will feign innocence and say 'you don't have to read the thread' blah blah blah.

Those sort of thread deserve a

"Can I ask you Mumsnetters to hold my hand?"

Ok, I'll PM you my address and you can send it in the post.

LadyBeagleEyes · 24/01/2013 16:57

I think naice and vair have a place in the right context.
Ackshully. Grin

BupcakesAndCunting · 24/01/2013 16:58

ahhhhh, ha Pandemoniaa! I think I know the source of your ire Wink

I said that Kim Jong the son (fuck knows his name) had ridiculous hair, that that massive frame on top of the funeral car was ludicrous and that Kim Jong Il had a big, fat spud head. And that I found all of those things funny.

Then come titty lips came out and said "YOU FIND THE OPPRESSED FUNNY? WELL WHAT A SICK LITTLE BEAST YOU ARE" then some helpfully linked me to some books so that I could read all about oppression in N. Korea. Cos I didn't know they was oppressed I thought they were all having a whale of a time over there. Hmm

TantrumsAndBalloons · 24/01/2013 16:58

What's with all the competitive misery lately?

Poster 1 I'm so cold I can't afford to put the heating on anymore.
Poster 2 well I've not had the heating on since 1990
Why are you moaning?
Poster 3- I haven't even got heating. What's wrong with you lot. People coped perfectly well without it in the Stone Age.

Or

Poster 1- I've only got £20 to feed a family of 6 what shall I do.
Poster 2 what's wrong with you, I feed a family of 8 on 1 chicken per week.
Yes some days we just have ground up bones and bits of skin and dust but £20 is a luxury
Poster 3- you are lucky you eat the skin. I have to pull ours off and stitch it together to make a blanket because I've got no heating and can't afford blankets.
Eat dust for fucks sake. It's on special offer in lidl this week.

atthewelles · 24/01/2013 16:58

But usual why do posters open those threads? There are certain threads that I know, if I go on them, I will just end up fighting with the same arsehole person as I fought with last time, so I avoid them. I don't go on them just to say 'yawn'.

OP posts:
RandallPinkFloyd · 24/01/2013 16:58

We may be up for another dead neighbours thread.

My next door neighbour has just parked (with great difficulty) the biggest car I have ever seen in my life right outside my window.

If that's his new car I will kill him.

BupcakesAndCunting · 24/01/2013 16:59

"What is dead neighbours?

Helen Daniels?"

Bwah ha ha ha ha ha!

I looked for Hully's dead neighbours the other day. Did it get deleted?

LadyBeagleEyes · 24/01/2013 16:59

I remember that Bupcakes.
That was a fun thread.
And the funeral was very funny.

PickledInAPearTree · 24/01/2013 16:59

You are a filthy beast Bupcakes.

usualsuspect · 24/01/2013 16:59

I remember Hully's dead neighbours thread. I defended her right to have a joke and got told off a bit.
