To wonder what other posters do that really annoy you?

For me it would probably be:

Not reading the OP properly and going off on a tangent
Pulling a thread totally OT in order to have a two way jokey conversation with someone else that goes on for pages and pages
Looking up someone's posting history and saying 'well on 5th April 2006 you said this and now you're saying that.

I hate it when posters exagerrate beyond all recongnition based on a few words that another poster has written. eg:

AIBU to be slightly concerned about my friends extremely overweight children?

I cannot believe the fattism on Mumsnet these days. Why dont we just line up all people over a size 12 and execute them by firing squad. Thats what you want isnt it. ISNT IT!

Posters who come on a thread just to say "this is too long, I don't have time to read a novel". It usually happens with OPs who are vulnerable/sensitive and it pisses me right off.

The single most annoying thing is when posters paraphrase you inaccurately, making a different point (and sometimes even the opposite point) to the one you were making, and then pick a fight with you on the basis of what you didn't say!

Is the dead neighbours one still about or did it get deleted?

People who come on a thread that has clearly been titled 'Thread about 4x4s' simply to say 'oh not this again. How many times have we had this thread? Yawn'.

Eh, it's not compulsory to open every single thread you know?

I hate complaints about spelling and grammar. Especially posts who say well if only you could spell we might take you more seriously. Dreadful! I also hate people diving in and taking great delight telling somebody their partners are a waste of space and totally awful and they should leave immediately and they certainly wouldn't put up with anyone like that. Sometimes they are 100% dreadful but not always.
