I get my F's from simply be, expensive, also hit and miss on quality

wishiwasonholiday · 08/10/2012 14:18

I get my e/f's from simply yours, there are some nice ones, they rang to offer me a discount on the triumph Doreen though and I said no thanks! Bought the most comfy bra i've ever had from there the other week, a goddess one.

IneedAsockamnesty · 08/10/2012 14:22

m&s do up to a h

HauntedLittleLunatic · 08/10/2012 14:24

There was a thread recently about wrong fitting etc.

Brastop was an online shop that was recommended and v v reasonably priced.

OldernotWiser47 · 08/10/2012 14:25

Hear hear(claps hands, stamps feet and blows whistle)
ONE of the local department stores does have nice scaffolding for my FFs, but the prices Shock

Brandnewbrighttomorrow · 08/10/2012 14:26

Totally agree with you op. Found this on the weekend though which have cheered me and my boobs up enormously Grin

Brandnewbrighttomorrow · 08/10/2012 14:27

Has not have Blush

peeriebear · 08/10/2012 14:28

Bravissimooooooooo :)

GilbGeekette · 08/10/2012 14:28

Freya or Panache via Bravissimo. Pretty, well fitting and not too eye-wateringly expensive. M&S can be good, but I've found them to be a bit hit or miss. That said I'm currently wearing a bra from of their twin packs for about £24 for both. Bloody comfy, good shape and are wearing well. But no, YANBU in any way, shape or form. Makes me bloody fume that I have to go miles to Brighton (nearest Bravissimo) or buy online because I have the temerity to be a G cup.

YerMaw1989 · 08/10/2012 14:30

Ooh brastop I will google.

Nice bra but rigby&peller? *phew expensive.

M&S are shit overall, even worse for measuring.

Aw god GlibGeekette I'm an E/F and that's bad enough.

www.leialingerie.com/outlet/search.aspx is affordable
Bravissimo is good but pricy, bra stop cheaper but doesn't always carry the range
www.juicylingeriestore.com/ good prices but the website could be better, great if you know what you want.

RedBlanket · 08/10/2012 14:31

I dream of being a D cup.

I don't mind boring styles, its not like anyone ever sees them, I'd just like to get myself a new black bra and a new sports bra without remortgaging.

Themumsnot · 08/10/2012 14:31

I buy all my (GG cup) bras on Ebay now. A lot of the Ebay lingerie shops do last season's stock in really good brands - Panache, Freya etc) for half of the cost of the new season stuff.

YerMaw1989 · 08/10/2012 14:33

Some nice ones on leia , thanks for all the links.

I'm a size EE have a fair pair and have to say I've reverted to the Genie Bra it keeps them up and is the most comfortable thing I have ever worn.

controlpantsandgladrags · 08/10/2012 14:40

I get my g's from marks. They last well and are pretty. Don't expect them to be able to measure you correctly though...they are crap at this ime. I tend to go into the changing room with a variety of sizes and fit myself...a quick google will tell you how to do it.

oxford1972 · 08/10/2012 14:44

Another one for Bravisimmo. Only hope when you are a j cup.

Housewifefromheaven · 08/10/2012 14:51

Kelly brook has a range of big booby bras at new look. Not tried them but maybe a bit cheaper than Freya, fantasie etc.

Just putting it out there :o

Bunbaker · 08/10/2012 14:55

"I dream of being a D cup."

So do I. I'm only an AA Sad

Are women getting bigger or are bras sized differently these days? When I was younger I never came across anyone bigger than a DD.

SorrelForbes · 08/10/2012 15:01

Bunbaker. I think what you're referring to is what we call DD+ denial! Many women are a D cup and bigger but due to poor fitting by places like M&S are wearing the wrong size bra (usually too big in the band and too small in the cup).

If you are genuinely an AA cup then that means you measure the same under your bust as you do across your bust. Have you seen the recent thread called 'How do you wear your bras'? Some great info on there about how to measure and fit properly.

All my friends and relatives (even my size 6 teen niece with tiny little bumps) are a D or over when measured/fitted correctly. In the end, a D cup only means a difference of 4 inches between the two measurements.

Molehillmountain · 08/10/2012 15:03

My local lingerie shop, lovely as it is, had me convinced that there was only one nursing bra in my size and so I've had rubbish shape for the last fifteen months. Why? Sad

Molehillmountain · 08/10/2012 15:04

And I was a k cup with dd1 - saying that outloud makes me go funny! Not in a good way.
