Thread deletion.

I'm a bit and that a thread has been deleted seemingly because my reply (the only one) wasn't intelligent enough! In the past i've requested one of my threads to be deleted but was told no as there was no good enough reason.

No doubt this will be deleted too as it's a thread about a (now non-existent) thread.

No the OP of the other thread was upset and then fluffyraggies posted to say that women can be abusers too and the other op said they were getting the thread deleted because fluffy's reply was such that there couldn't be intelligent discussion.

And I wrote a post about a friend of DPs who is in an abusive relationship (I've posted about him) but by the time I'd pressed post the thread had been deleted.

It was on relationships. This is really hard to describe without being a cow to the OP. But i've started this so ... in a nut shell:

A poster asked (at 11am today) for a discussion about a website about domestic abuse happening to men. And gave a link. The OP hinted at the site being very off in some way.

No one had answered. About half an hour ago i looked at the link and replied that i didn't get the problem with it. Asked if i was missing something. Plus something about anything that helps is worth while surely.

OP then said no i should read the site more carefully.

I asked is it cos it's aimed only at men ...

Then the OP said something about it being to do with power play and mysoginism and that my reply had ruined any useful debate and would ask for a deletion immediately!

And it disappeared!

How is that unintelligent?

No way did HQ delete for that. It broke guidelines in some way.

I come across websites and shockjocks talking about DV and men, that do those men a huge disservice by being - frankly - fucking barking, offensive, incorrect, manipulative of data and creepy.
