MC - I read that as "are made by a guy named duncan" and was like :-O until I re-read!

My ex thought that the phrase "let sleeping dogs lie" meant you shouldn't wake dogs up! The conversation went;

Me;"Put the dog out"

Him; "She's asleep"

Me; "so??"

Him; "you shouldn't wake them up"

Me; "since the fuck when?"

Him" that saying about not waking dogs up"

Me "What the... You mean let sleeping dogs lie?"

Him "yeah!l

Me; "you're a twat"

Queen twat is a little harsh

My DH had a moment of clarity a few weeks ago when he learned that 'catarrh' (as in snotty nose) is not, in fact, pronounced or spelled guitar

LOl at all of those....especially the birthday suit, guitar and rice krispies!! Mines not about a saying as such.....but when I was first prescribed tablets, I had to ask my dad how i took one tablet 3 times a day (theres me thinking it meant I had to take the same tablet 3 times a day.....twat or what )
