where is everyone?

I am having a 'bored with bunting? jaded with the jubilee?' birthday party tomorrow. Anyone mentioning That Woman will be shown the door.

We did go into London for lunch with BIL and SIL, who wanted to see the fecking boats, but retreated from the throngs - both Mr Inferior and I felt really quite ill about the whole thing.

Disagree about Kate looking nice too. Or if she does, yes, she looks nice in a jolly and wholesome manner which personally I find a bit off-putting.

I wish there were some anarchist anti-jubilee parties here.

Since when do Republicans need a separate thread to be cuntish? Let everyone be cuntish on whatever thread they like Grin

well I did think about sauntering onto the "doesn't the duchess look gorgeous" thread and asking who gave two tugs of a dead dog's cock what colour skirt she's got on, but I haven[t been here for a while and thought I would ease myself in gently

My teens had a barbecue/party/camp-out chez Scarlett last night. On of the yoofs invited asked innocently "is this party for the Jubilee, KatieScarletts DS?", his resonse was "aye, right, as if..."

No royalists here.

Hooray, I'll be curmudgeonly with you!

Why is it that she gets a meeting with the PM once a week, and no one is allowed to say what she said? I thought she had no power, so how can she stop the democratically elected PM from broadcasting her sagacity to all of us?

I remind you, or point out to you, if you are a bit younger than I, that she dissolved a democratically elected government in Australia, and has the power to do the same here.

I was invited to the Queens Garden Party for services to Charidee once.

I declined.

Richard E Grant said that he is there because he is "patriotic". I believe it's possible to be patriotic without being a monarchist Hmm.

I wanted to get some Saltire bunting, Irish Tricolour bunting and Canadian flag bunting, just to confuse/troll the neighbours. (I'm half-Irish, and my DP is Canadian born and Scottish raised.)

Very much with you on this, what is with the flag waving? It's embarrassing, fawning all over these toffs. I wanted to start a thread earlier but wasn't brave enough!

There does seem to be an overwhelming majority on here that support this outdated nonsense. I thought we were in a bloody recession, but the queen is getting her royal barge redone in gold leaf!
