WAH and STOP IT. I thought the unwritten rule of dragon butter was you were safe if you didn't bloody google it. I'm never planning to and I don't want to hear about any of this. For those reading the last page first - HIDE THIS THREAD NOW BEFORE YOUR EYES DRIFT UPWARDS.

SaggyCeratops · 30/05/2012 12:14

Excited, I'm not sure you are old enough to be googling anything! Wink Grin

SaggyCeratops · 30/05/2012 12:15

Monkeyface. That had me ROFLMAO! Grin

bringbacksideburns · 30/05/2012 12:16

NicholasTeakozy · 30/05/2012 12:17

No TWC either. :o

SaggyCeratops · 30/05/2012 12:23

NEVER google Egg Butty! Confused
Grin

MoonlightandRoses · 30/05/2012 12:48

After conducting extensive analysis on the above I have come to a simple conclusion: never google anything, ever. Grin

Of course, that's not as much fun, but - that's life! (sorry, couldn't resist the cliche) Actually, don't google 'that's life' either...

TapirBackRider · 31/05/2012 14:34

Has Space Dock Fondue been mentioned yet???

MoonlightandRoses · 31/05/2012 20:29

Space Docking comes in a fondue version? Double urgh

rarebreed · 31/05/2012 20:43

Two kids in a sand pit.

It's not what it sounds like, I haven't watched it, too scared.

rarebreed · 31/05/2012 20:44

Sandbox, sorry, not sandpit.

rarebreed · 31/05/2012 20:45

Go to urban dictionary and it tells you what it is.

rarebreed · 31/05/2012 20:46
nevergoogle · 31/05/2012 20:47

Sorry I'm late.

BelieveInPink · 31/05/2012 20:48

Oh my god...

rarebreed · 31/05/2012 20:49

Did you?

nevergoogle · 31/05/2012 20:49

These threads make me feel a tiny bit famous. Sad isn't it.

MoonlightandRoses · 31/05/2012 20:52

never you took your time - and should that be 'famous' or 'infamous'? Grin

BelieveInPink · 31/05/2012 20:56

I read the urban dictionary post, rarebreed.

This is why I don't google sick stuff:

"Adult pornography that falls under the Government's classification of "extreme pornography" is illegal to possess as of January 26, 2009, carrying a three year prison sentence. This was proposed by the Government after the murder of Jane Longhurst, claiming that such material was viewed by murderer Graham Coutts"

That scares me. I wouldn't google anything I thought was depraved.

nevergoogle · 31/05/2012 21:00

yeah sorry, have been MN awol, nobody actually notices until these threads do their rounds.

Shall i do my annual explanation of how I got my name?

I named myself dragonbutter because my wedding dress had dragonflies and butterflies embroidered into a panel of fabric. Fine I thought. It's a fluffy name but nobody will know. And so everything was fine for a year and I got myself well and truly into being a mumsnet newbie but regular, and was thorougly entertained for the duration of my maternity leave.

Then I googled myself in an attempt to find inspiration for a halloween nickname change and discovered the definition for dragonbutter on urban dictionary. I'd been calling myself that for a year!?!

The rest, I guess, is mumsnet history. I'm now nevergoogle in the interest of decorum. And I genuinely mean it when i tell you not to google it. Why won't anyone listen to me? Wink

MoonlightandRoses · 31/05/2012 21:03

Like wasps to honey I think.
Knew about the 'you having googled dragon butter' bit, but not about the wedding dress - sounds lovely (the dress, not the butter).

Mind you, I got a bit of a shock the other day when I looked up 'wet dragon' while trying to find an image of HoneyDragon for another thread - yes, yes, I should have learned from others' mistakes...

BelieveInPink · 31/05/2012 21:03

Brilliant.
