just wondered if there is anything you have googled and wish you had not

OP posts:
TheOneWithTheHair · 27/05/2012 07:34

I have the trypophobia thing too after a link on a thread a few months ago. I did a test a few months later and it was awful. It makes my skin crawl. I also can't sleep if I think about it.

I agree with the poster who said it's also to do with clusters. :(

WillSingForCake · 27/05/2012 07:41

Fart I Google plotlines for hideous films too. If I read that a film has been banned, made the audience hurl etc, I can't help but find out exactly what happens in it, even though I have a ridiculously sensitive disposition, and hate watching horror films.

There was a thread in here once asking what films people had seen which they wish they hadn't, and I spent ages looking them all up to see exactly why people had been so traumatised by them.

The images from googling Human Caterpillar stayed with me for ages!

gettingeasier · 27/05/2012 07:57

I am not going to google any of this Grin

I too found the real doll thread a while back enough for me especially the doll on the stool with the dalmatian Shock

FartBlossom · 27/05/2012 08:23

ooh yes Ive heard of 1man 1 jar.

Willsing thats exactly what I did. I read a thread on here about films that people shouldn't see so started googling them all. I dont mind a lot of gore porn films (eg hostel and saw etc), but have drawn the line at the human catepillar. Though that doesnt stop me being really curious and part of me actually wants to see it. So I read the story on net so now at least I know what happens even though I have not seen it. That should be enough to satisfy my curiosity.

catgirl1976 · 27/05/2012 08:25

Munting

Ratbagcatbag · 27/05/2012 08:55

I agree it's clusters too, that's the dogs ear full of tics freaked me out.

To the poster who asked how'd you get it as someone had them in her eye, they're just fakes, it's the holes that freak people so some lovely individuals with nothing better to do produces images that show trypophobia at its best (or worst) so all of us who do shudder about it have even worse images burned in our brains that you can never unsee.

confusedpixie · 27/05/2012 09:07

Moonlight: probably a bit late to answer but hentai is anime porn. Not good for an innocent 13yo searching for pics of her favourite anime!

Willsing: I do the same as you, I hate horror films but reading gore doesn't bother me as much as seeing it! (though it still bothers me!) The human caterpillar was disgusting. Definitely a don't google! Haven't seen it and certainly don't want too!

A lot of the trypophobia images are photoshopped MsPaperback Some good photoshopping on a couple too!

MsPaperbackWriter · 27/05/2012 09:45

Ooops, doh me!

BelieveInPink · 27/05/2012 09:49

See even if I was curious enough to Google these things (am a little) I never would because surely you can get in trouble for looking online at truly sick things? I know it's illegal to look at certain truly sick things and I just worry Big Brother might be watching/thinking I'm an Internet Weirdo.

FartBlossom · 27/05/2012 09:50

I know I wrote this too, but isnt the film called the human centipede not the human catepillar as we have been calling it

BelieveInPink · 27/05/2012 10:05

It is Centipede. I watched it but recorded it so I could fast forward. :o

What kind of mind does the creator of that film have? And what kind of serious actor would take part in it?

The second one is also an eye opener but I haven't seen it.

Zara1984 · 27/05/2012 10:15

harlequin ichthyosis.

Ohhhhh yeah. That one used to be burned into my brain. Sad though for babies and families involved Sad - would recommend heavily pregnant and new mums may not want to google.

Even though I hate hate horror movies and cannot watch them (I watched The Ring years ago and I still have nightmares), the intertubes holds no horrors for me. I think I just had very degenerate uni mates and we always tried to shock each other!

2 girls 1 cup is defo chocolate. Choc is used in most scatological porn because obviously they'd get in huge trouble with health authorities (most of it being made in the US) if they used, erm, the real thing. Apparently they use all sorts of chocolate types and textures, melting, moulding it etc, to get right effect. The thought of which I find quite hilarious Grin - but I do hope those poor men and women don't get infections from putting chocolate up their bum, though....

Birdsgottafly · 27/05/2012 10:26

"I never would because surely you can get in trouble for looking online at truly sick things"

You canonly be in trouble for knowingly viewing child porn or some criminal activity, such as some RL kidnap/torture stuff, not just by viewing disturbing images.

Zara1984 · 27/05/2012 10:28

South Park parodied the human centipede, it was a v funny episode!

FartBlossom · 27/05/2012 10:54

The second one is also an eye opener but I haven't seen it.

I think that one's banned in this country. I did read that the maker made the first one "quite tame" to test the reaction and so made the second one worse with more graphics.

Lunabelly · 27/05/2012 12:14

Refuse to watch any of the centipede films, and certain other horrors. I read the IMDb or wiki for 'A Serbian Film' after seeing it mentioned on the Guardian talk boards (Gawd rest its soul), thinking how could anything be worse than Hostel.

Just that was enough to freak the hell out of me. Not necessary. Not a powerful art house indictment of whatever bollocks the maker was trying to justify himself with. Just sick. Some things are just sick.

Talking of sick fucks making shock cinema, someone mentioned kidnap victims eating their own faeces. Possibly 'Salo', some bollocks based on Sade witterings. This time wiki-hopping found that.

Hey, if grown consenting adults want to hurt the fuck out of each other, with the emphasis on 'consenting' and 'adults', if that's their bag, that's their bag. Up to them.
But in my humble opinion, some things just shouldn't be made. I'm pretty open-minded, but if I met someone with centipede films, ASerbianFilm and Salo on their DVD shelves, I probably wouldn't want to be friends with them...

Lunabelly · 27/05/2012 12:16

hoiks judgey pants in preparation to flee

StepAwayFromTheEcclesCakes · 27/05/2012 13:11

I googled nude pants to try and help out pagwatch with a knicker problem should really have known not to. Grin

Krumbum · 27/05/2012 14:55

I thought human centipede 1 was an alright horror film, its actually very tame, you don't see any gore really. Terribly acted though. Human centipede 2 is so gross, very gory and graphic but bits of it are funny too. The concept is quite clever. I'm looking forward to 3! But I'm also terrified!
Lol at posters things it's human caterpillar, human caterpillar sounds really cute :)

FartBlossom · 27/05/2012 15:38

I thought human centipede 1 was an alright horror film

Im guessing its probably not as bad as I imagine it to be, though really dont want to see it. I personally dont think that makes sense as I have seen all the saw and hostel films plus a few others that are similar.

BonnieBumble · 27/05/2012 15:38

The news Sad

LifeIsButtercream · 27/05/2012 17:41

I just googled Mustard Snack - got a load of pictures of MacDonalds food........

...... It was awful shakes

hackmum · 27/05/2012 18:10

Ducky: "I hate the trypophobia thing, but I reckon it's more than holes, I think it's maybe the clusters that disturb, I was shuddering like a goodun cutting the seeds out of the dc's honeydew melon earlier"

Me too. Have always had a problem with clusters. When I was a child it was so bad I couldn't even look at a plate of boiled rice. Am a bit better now but there are still loads of things that give me the creeps.

Every now and then on MN someone says "Don't google Dragon butter" so I never have, but I am dying to know what it is. Or is it just a joke?

NicNocJnr · 27/05/2012 18:17

I haven't googled dragon butter specifically but did come across a weird dildo modelled after a dragon's penis (how do you know??) but looks more like a dogs actually. The coup de grace is the tube that attatches and spurts dragon 'sperm' lube right through the middle of it when you desire such a thing...Idk when that might be tbh. Oh and it's special lube labelled as Dragon semen just so you know you can't use any old lube.

I have no idea how I found it or what I was looking for at the time but is that the same thing??

But really how do you know when you're in the right area shape wise when you're making a Dragon's peen?
