there was an episode where one of the peripheral characters (called Drew I think) compared Dawson and Pacey to Luke Skywalker and Han Solo. When you're young you like the safe sweet Dawson and when you grow up you realise its the slightly dangerous edgy guy! I reluctantly decided that a 36 year old should not own all the box sets so sold them on ebay but did keep the tear-jerker 2 hour finale when they are all grown up!
