I liked the one where the teacher made jack read out his poem and pacey stood up to the teacher for being so cruel. :)

Gumby · 20/05/2012 08:26

Audrey is in a sitcom with Courtney cox now
She's hilarious
Cougar something?

WhatSheSaid · 20/05/2012 08:41

Cougar Town?

She appears with Michelle Williams on the red carpet sometimes, apparently they are still really good mates.

What was that Eve business all about, it was v weird - she turned up and there was some suggestion she was Jen's half sister - but it was never really resolved iirc?

Loved all of it really. Espec Joey and Pacey getting together. Jen and Jack were great. All the early Joey-Dawson together/apart business was a bit tedious (especially with Pacey right there who was CLEARLY far more attractive). Liked the college bits, the finale, everything really (though why did they kill Jen off?).

Iam I think it's different on the DVDs from how it was on tv. I'm sure on tv it was the other way round. I think it was about the Rights to the songs when it came to the DVD sets. I had a look online, that seems to be general consensus: found this link I'm certain when I watched on uk tv it was Run like mad for a season then replaced by I don't want to wait

YompingJo · 20/05/2012 09:41

I have also been to Wilmington (where it was filmed) to have a nose around - very weird, being somewhere that you have seen so much on TV. I didn't go there just for that, I hasten to add, but was in North Carolina and it was (sort of) nearby...

And I have the soundtrack, still love it. Ah, nostalgia. Off to buy the box set look at books 'n' stuff on Amazon for a bit saunters casually off, whistling

And, embarrassing admission time... I did prefer Dawson at the start - I'm such a sad sap and I do what I'm told and I got the impression we were meant to prefer Dawson so I did. Only when I was a few years older did I have the moment of "hang on a minute, Pacey is MUCH hotter! I've been conned!" Then again, I preferred Luke Skywalker when I was younger too, but now I'd push him into one of those pits with the closing-in walls to get at Han Solo.

Yompingjo....shame on you...Dawson???? :o

So glad I'm not alone in my continuing love for the creek, hope its on today!

IAmBooybilee · 20/05/2012 12:08

yes havealittle i think you're right. i've only seen the whole lot on dvd and i remember when i was watching it thinking that the 'i dont wanna wait' was on far more series than just the first.

YompingJo · 20/05/2012 15:36

I haven't just bought the boxset on Amazon. Oh no. Not at all.

YompingJo · 20/05/2012 15:36

I somehow managed to base one of my GCSE english coursework papers on Dawsons Creek.

It involved lots of watching it during school time. so I could perve over Pacey

WhispersOfWickedness · 20/05/2012 17:36

ABF Shock I am impressed! Grin

Very Envy by those visitors to Wilmington, I have to admit that if I visited the US, I would want to visit Boston solely on the basis of how lovely it looked when they were all at college there Blush Gram's house was lovely EnvyEnvy

chipmunksex · 20/05/2012 17:48

Ahh the Creek! I am much too old to watch it, but I adore Pace, his voice for ffs

Most of the good bits have been mentioned, but what about the night J&P spend in walmart, joey giving pacey a shave and snuggling up in their jammies? MMM

Tangointhenight · 20/05/2012 18:09

"the night J&P spend in walmart, joey giving pacey a shave and snuggling up in their jammies?"

oh yes!! how could i forget that? it was a great epsiode!

and yes yes yes to pacey's voice. as opposed to dawson's whingey voice!

alphabite · 20/05/2012 18:34

I always wanted to look like Joey!

IAmBooybilee · 20/05/2012 18:40

i'm at my sister's now. going to steal her boxset again so i can start again on it this evening. too very excited! Grin

anonacfr · 20/05/2012 18:53

THE WALMART EPiSODE!!!!!! I arranged a whole friends sleepover weekend around that episode.
We got all v drunk the night before and then watched it in our PJs the next morning.

We were all in our 20s.... Blush. We were also great Sunset Beach fans. Grin

Fave episodes? Definitely the weekend at Dawson's aunt (who's supposed to be a free spirit because she dances around to 'Wild Thing' whilst painting terrible pictures).
I still squee inside a little every time I hear Daydream Believer....

And how about when Joey and Pacey dance together at the prom and he remembers about her mother's bracelet? And the one where he buys her the wall?
Pacey is clearly the ideal man.

I hate the way they broke up because the writer was so in love with Dawson that he couldn't bear for Pacey to be the fan favourite and character assassinated him in season 4...

alphabite · 20/05/2012 18:58

Oh God anonacfr. Sunset beach was fab! So rubbish it was great!

Shame there are not DVD boxsets for that!

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 20/05/2012 19:13

Every time I see a turkey baster I think of the evil pregnancy scheme Hmm

alphabite · 20/05/2012 19:22

''Ahh the Creek! I am much too old to watch it, but I adore Pace, his voice for ffs ''

Oh no. How old is too old? I fear I have probably got past that bit at 20yrs old (+10years)

chipmunksex · 20/05/2012 19:36

I am 20+20!!! So Defo too old, but I don't care. Blush

alphabite · 20/05/2012 19:38

I don't think I will ever be too old for Dawsons Creek, Fresh Prince, Dirty Dancing, Greece etc.

Tangointhenight · 20/05/2012 20:02
