PicaK · 21/05/2012 22:15

Pacey and the school teacher. Sighs. One if the sexiest programmes ever. A real education.

Tangointhenight · 21/05/2012 22:30

Lol lol to "up my creek" that just made me guffaw and almost wake the baby.

There are so many sexy pacey moments it's hard to choose the finest. I thought he was adorable with Andy. Who mentioned the sandwich bit, aaaaw so lovely!!

Caz10 · 21/05/2012 22:46

Also, pacey aside, I loved all the film references they put in, also little in-jokes etc. did anyone watch one tree hill? They quite often made Dawson related one liners!
really needs to get a life

WhispersOfWickedness · 21/05/2012 22:52

I loved the film references too Smile did anyone else have the episode guides and photo scrapbook ? Blush

Tangointhenight · 21/05/2012 22:55

anonacfr · 21/05/2012 23:06

Funny that when I watched my So Called Life I loved it and thought Jordan Thingie was the sexiest boy ever.
Now I think he looks like a girl.

And he's aged bizarrely.

anonacfr · 21/05/2012 23:06

JJ on the other hand...

LRDtheFeministDragon · 22/05/2012 08:53

I am just waiting to find when I click on Amazon, it's recommending ''The Mumsnet Rules'' alongside the box set.
Grin

I am loving the music from Dawson's Creek.

Margerykemp · 22/05/2012 09:18

I stopped watching it when they went off to college but watched the finale- was the best tv ending ever.

Other 90s teen favourites of mine were blossom, boy meets world (phroar rider strong) and the darlene/ David storyline in Roseanne. Another good role model for teen girls imo.

Tangointhenight · 22/05/2012 09:19

Haha LRD!! I thought id get shot down in flames for being so uncool, who knew so many closet DC lovers existed!!! :)

Tangointhenight · 22/05/2012 09:20

Margery I LOVED Boy meets world!!!!!!!!!

Grin My DH thinks I'm mad, tango.

Incidentally, had anyone else forgotten how racist Jen's gram was?! Shock

pickledsiblings · 22/05/2012 09:54

She wasn't that racist, she dated Clifton Smalls.

LRDtheFeministDragon · 22/05/2012 09:57

Ooh, I'd forgotten that. It must have been part of her becoming nicer - I remember she did become a lot more accepting later on. I'm on the first season where she is giving Jen's sister an earful because her baby will be 'part black' and the child of an unmarried mother! Shock

It does feel quite dated, that bit.

LRDtheFeministDragon · 22/05/2012 09:58

*Jen's sister?! Joey's sister, sorry.

miaowmix · 22/05/2012 10:07

I loved Dawsons Creek soo much, was (and is) my favourite programme ever along with ER, and I was (and am) far too old, even at the time, but who cares. I wanted to live in that lovely town too - North/South Carolina?
Best episode for me was Breakfast Club style in the library - that was my favourite film as a teen (showing age now!).
Sod it, am ordering the box set. Grin

chipmunksex · 22/05/2012 10:59

Did you know there are/were Dawson's Creek books? I may have a few hiding upstairs Blush

Tangointhenight · 22/05/2012 11:15

Chipmunksex yes I had books too!!!!!!!!!!

Ok calming down now, Dawsons creek really was the soundtrack to my youth, Wednesday evenings at 6pm isn't that right??

PandaNot · 22/05/2012 13:05

You do all know that there's quite a lot of DC fanfiction out there that might satisfy some of your Pacey cravings?

Margerykemp · 22/05/2012 15:27

I thought it was on Sunday mornings at 11?

I never saw the end of boy meets world but I think Corey and to panga got married.

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 22/05/2012 16:14

margery it was both! When it started it was on Fridays evenings and repeated Sunday mornings. They showed it Saturday nights at times and then it moved to Wednesday. I missed the last season when it moved to channel 5, never kept track of when it was on!

One of my favourite episodes had to be when the skipped school and went to a blues bar and got up on stage and sang. Definitely Andi and Dawson. That's when Dawson met the girl who was one of the Sweet Valley Twins!
