YANBU. I can't stand them doddering around and bashing into me in Waitrose. and what's worse, driving around carpark with carpark ticket BETWEEN THEIR TEETH ..... WHAT is that all about???? Do they think they are fucking dogs or something?

junkcollector · 08/03/2012 13:40

Yeah there were some people being people in Sainsbury's earlier. Fuckers!

scrappydappydoo · 08/03/2012 13:42

YANBU - I think all retired people should be banned from shops on weekday evenings and weekends.. OR supermarkets need to build laybys in the aisles so they can chat whilst I get on with my shopping...
and if they could get off the roads when I'm driving that would be the best thing - how dare they try to travel when I need to go somewhere.

Tee2072 · 08/03/2012 13:42

So many people being people at Belfast City Centre today. Made me nuts.

RuleBritannia · 08/03/2012 13:42

NigellasGuest Yes, sometimes you see people with their debit cards between their teeth while they put their cashback away in their wallets or purses. Then hand them to someone else to hold.

FatherHankTree · 08/03/2012 13:43

There were Other People around when I walked the dog earlier. One of them spoke to me, the bastard.

Honeydragon · 08/03/2012 13:44

It's the sense of entitlement they have that gets me. Especially in supermarkets. All that stopping to look at stuff, wearing out the labels with their gimlety eyes. Just because they have a right to be there doesn't mean they should. Hmm

NigellasGuest · 08/03/2012 13:44

RuleBritiannia - The dirty, dirty devils!

NigellasGuest · 08/03/2012 13:46

someone actually walked past my house earlier today. Yes, I know it's a public road and all that, but honestly, this area is really going down fast and there are limits FFS

Honeydragon · 08/03/2012 13:46

FatherHankTree

They were clearly a pervert, stands to reason.

It's guaranteed if you find the ONE place in a supermarket to park your trolley which isn't in front of a display, someone will want to go there.

Mind you, if I find an unattended trolley in my way, I just fling it wherever I like. And I smile triumphantly. And I look around to see if I've pissed the owner of it off.

junkcollector · 08/03/2012 13:48

Or like people who blithely stop all the traffic at pedestrian crossings just so they can cross the road. Selfish arses!

TheFrothingBerserker · 08/03/2012 13:50

Yes, yes to all of that.

But what really gets me is that there are so many people on Mumsnet. Can't move between threads without seeing other posters. Honestly. Sense of entitlement gone mad. Feck off, the lot of you. Angry

CamperFan · 08/03/2012 13:50

Your OP did make me chuckle, thank you (goes back to annoying others just by being).

edwinbear · 08/03/2012 13:51

There were people in the petrol station this morning, blocking my way to the pumps and leaving their cars there whilst they went in to pay. Some of them bought stuff other than petrol in the shop, leaving me waiting even longer. How very dare they.

Honeydragon · 08/03/2012 13:52

Yeah. My Mum and Dad announced this morning they were off to Sainsburys together. They are retired, I insist they go to Sainsburys in the dead of night so they don't pollute the enviroment with their retiredness but WILL THEY LISTEN????

Bet they go out for lunch too and take up valuable space in a cafe I that I might be thinking about going to, sometime.

cobwebthegrey · 08/03/2012 13:53

Boomerang, you should do what I do if a frilly is in my way and add random items to it, then follow the fakers round til they get to the checkout and see their miserable little faces when they discover them. Tampons for men and condoms for the old gimmers works well...

Jusfloatingby · 08/03/2012 13:53

Not to mention all the people who think they're entitled to be on the bus at 8am, just when I need to be going to work. Self entitled, inconsiderate b*stards.

cobwebthegrey · 08/03/2012 13:54

A trolley, not a frilly, if a FRILLY is in my way I kill it.

Honeydragon · 08/03/2012 13:55

Yeah Mumsnet is the absolute bits at the moment. People flitting in and out posting shit all over the place. The Bloody HQ turn up quoting people willy nilly and taking up UNNECESSARY SPACE with there big blue boxes, entitled much eh, HQ?

Merrylegs · 08/03/2012 13:57
