Had enough of their agenda being forced down my throat whether I want it or not. Major recruitment drive going on lately, and serious opression of other posters views. Just gets worse and worse. This was not what I believed MN was supposed to be about.

I'm off.

OP posts:

Btw, I know of four threads in the last 10 days that display the bullying as discussed. But I'm on an iPhone so I can't be arsed to search and link.

  1. in Lone Parents about new legislation giving children better rights in regard to access to the NRP

  2. the lapdance club thread

  3. seeker's thread ( 'not sure if this should be in style and beauty or feminism ) about a shop assistant saying a dress was 'flattering'

  4. The Amsterdam thread. Also posted with uncertainty about if it should be in feminism.

All had the same posters agreeing with each other and generally displaying the traits as listed earlier.

Beachcomber · 22/02/2012 22:52

OP I was very pleasant towards you, and I'm glad to see that you have been good enough to mention upthread that I was very kind to you.

So thanks for that.

I have seen quite a few posts from you recently making comments about how unpleasant radical feminists are in your view.

I thought I would just let you know that I am a radical feminist.

The Amsterdam thread was full of people attacking the OP because she dared speculate that the misogynistic fuckwits she worked with might act like misogynistic fuckwits when they reached Amsterdam in their big boys gang. She was bullied I quite agree, but not by rad fems.

Nyac · 22/02/2012 22:56

That's not a passive aggressive post cbem.

Beachcomber is being direct about what happened.

I don't understand the issue with somebody saying they're not sure whether their thread should be posted in feminism or not. Why does that matter?

edam · 22/02/2012 23:02

Nah, chem, that's not passive aggressive.

The misogynists are simply aggressive - demanding that pesky feminists shut the fuck up and be prevented from posting anywhere the misogynists deem unsuitable.

As far as I can see, they also seek to claim victimhood. Because it's not fair that all women don't submit to their authority and don't shut the fuck up.

Beachcomber · 22/02/2012 23:04

Cbem, not rude enough to make personal attacks I hope.

For your information this thread has upset me. I am quite tired of being called all sorts of nasty things on MN because of my politics. I am not being rude or passive aggressive. I'm being honest and transparent with the OP. I did appreciate the OP mentioning that I had been kind to her.

I don't appreciate being slagged off because I hold radical feminist views.

clothes I think some posters just see feminism as a dirty word. Whilst insisting they want women to be treated as equals. I'm a bit sick of unsubstantiated accusations of bullying tbf, it's beginning to feel like the fucking Crucible around here at the moment. Only instead of witchcraft it's rad-feminism.
