so some may remember that i outed SIL to family as she was saying some horrible lies about us all online. I was wrong for doing that and should have spoke to her at the time. Since then we have talked and are doing fine. she apoligised as did I. however I have come across her again on the same forum (alot more incognito this time) doing the same thing again. I was not looking for her but searched a forum on a similar topic that she is passionate about and from reading i thought it was her. I did look at all her posts and it is her and couldnt believe she was saying the same things again.

anyways i havent told dp or anyone. should i just ignore it at this stage? carry on like i havent seen them?

genuine advice needed.

seriously, you have nothing to do all day??

scuzy · 11/01/2012 11:40

Ignore, ignore, ignore. Because no good will come from another inquest into her online activities. I know this might sound unreasonable if she is telling lies but there's nothing you can do other than have another row.

scuzy · 11/01/2012 11:41

bemybebe thanks for your constructive input.

I'd leave it. If she's posting under a pseudonym and has altered all the details, she'll deny it.

Callisto · 11/01/2012 11:43

Maybe she feels the need to vent online because all of her in-laws are horrible?

Kayano · 11/01/2012 11:43

It her new username. 'mySILisanoseystalker'

?

TubbyDuffs · 11/01/2012 11:44

Why on earth would you actively search out her posts?

Catsdontcare · 11/01/2012 11:44

If you are tired of it stop searching for it. Look, you know how she feels about you now so just keep a polite distance from her.

scuzy · 11/01/2012 11:44

maybe so callisto. anyways i got my answer and advice. i wont be saying anything and just leave it be. so thanks again for reading.

scuzy · 11/01/2012 11:45

i was searching for a topic that I wanted to read about and she had also posted. i did NOT look for her again!!!

OP posts:
Kayano · 11/01/2012 11:46

Whatever Hmm

Catsdontcare · 11/01/2012 11:46

The intermet is a big place I find it hard to believe that you could stumble upon her that easily. You also chose to confirm your suspicians by reading her post history.

SoupDragon · 11/01/2012 11:46

So, the OP is a nasty piece of work and not the lying SIL?

DoesNotGiveAFig · 11/01/2012 11:46

Sounds like you stalk her quite a bit. Leave her be!

ViviPru · 11/01/2012 11:47

In OPs defence, I could imagine that given the situation stressed in her most recent post, she could be forgiven for having a bit of a rolleyes and ffs not this again after everything that went on before.

But I'm also inclined to err toward callisto's suggestion....

SarahStratton · 11/01/2012 11:47

Much.

Seriously, did it ever occur to you that it might not be healthy for you to have an internet connection. Hmm
