Weather back to normal here after a strange weekend. -27 this morning, and DS and I have to go out, bleurgh. Hopefully anyway, as I forgot to plug the vehicles in last night so they've only been plugged in for a couple of hours this morning and may not start.

Migraine passed finally, it was a bad one, thanks all for the good wishes.

Oh do you have an electric car gomummy ? There's not too many of them over here yet but i was just admiring one yesterday :)(the first one I've seen) we were parked beside one in our park , when it was turned on there was No sound from it at all :O not sure if that's a good thing or not though as I'd imagine it would be hard for children to hear a car coming iykwim

mmmm, thanks for the pie! :) No electric car Elmo. We have block heaters in our vehicles that have to be plugged in so that they will start in the cold weather. Essentially, when it gets really cold, the oil in your engine gets really thick, block heaters warm it to allow it to start.

Ikwym though, a couple of friends have hybrids and when they are stopped it is totally silent! Would take some getting used to!

Just thought...we haven't had a quiz in forever! Anybody have some questions???

Strange here, I think mother nature has lost the plot....went from -27 to +7 in 24 hours, and our snow is starting to melt, and somehow it is supposed to swing back to-19 overnight. No wonder everyone I see is ill.
