yanbu it is really addictive, im sometimes sat there pinning stuff in the middle of the night thinking to myself i should be asleep.. but it is quite relaxing

Everyone on AIBU having a whinge-up about the trials of gift giving, xmas lists, present ideas etc need to get themselves and their loved ones pinning. We have a 'letter to Santa' pinterest board each which is far more useful and gentle than a grabby present list.

How many followers have you got, swan?

Thanks Swan. My lounge is now the living embodiment of my Xmas board Xmas Grin. Your 'places to go' look like my dream travel wishlist....

SayYule & ATruth basically you create themed 'pinboards' and whenever you come across something on the web that you like the look of, you 'pin' it to your boards, and it creates a collage of all those things, and the best part is it links back to the original page, so great for gift lists etc.

The point of pinterest? Why, to look at pretty pictures, pin them all onto your own boards for looking at again later, clicking on them to go straight to the link to their source (quite often a lovely blog that you waste spend more time browsing) and basically keping all your pretty inspirational pictures in one place.

I'd need your email address to send the invite. Nothing dodgy - that's just how it works, and if I remember rightly, I think you might need to have a Facebook account to join but that may have changed since I started.
