LovesBloominChristmas · 06/12/2011 23:29

OhTheConfusion · 06/12/2011 23:57

Foosty would I be right in saying with that MN name you have to be scottish? Gosh that's a word i have not heard in a long time!

UterusUterusGhali · 07/12/2011 00:05

Oh, Swanny, I will follow you.

Scuttlebutter · 07/12/2011 00:15

Vivi, thank you!! Now I can satisfy my pinning desires!

blondechristmas · 07/12/2011 00:25

And there was me thinking it was going to be a site for fans of Harold...

cartblanche · 07/12/2011 00:31

I don't understand all these "will you invite me"? I just sent off an email to register and within 24hrs had my pinboard. It was only 4 months ago and I can't imagine it has exploded in size that much (or has it?) And yes it is far too addictive and leaves me feeling both inspired and dissatisfied. Can't leave it alone.

MinnieBar · 07/12/2011 11:06

I've just searched MN and it's not coming up with any boards. Harrumph...

foosty · 07/12/2011 12:22

Glaswegian, Ohtheconfusion! It's a great word!

I also sent them a request and was on the boards within half an hour, even though it said there was a waiting list. I'll happily send an invite to anyone who wants one...I do think it's becoming massive in popularity - I would like to follow some more UK pinners though, as the Americans have a tendency to be a bit twee, gawd luv'em

Ceic · 07/12/2011 12:47

I do love a good browse over Pinterest. I've made swirly biscuits/cookies, learnt how to do waterfall french plaits and more...

I sent them a request a couple of times and never got any reply... Can I get an invite from you, Foosty? Will pm.

HoHoHoFunIntended · 07/12/2011 13:03

Another addict here! I am following any of you who put a link to their profile. I am here.

buttonspoon · 07/12/2011 13:26

Love Pinterest! I was wishing for something like this a few years ago. I wish I had known about it (or it existed) when I got married - it would have been very useful. But I did use Etsy.com a lot and that site is great too!

MinnieBar · 07/12/2011 13:44

I have created a MN board! Although I can't remember who is who to say you can all add to it. If you should want to. I've already run out of ideas...

ViviPrudolf · 07/12/2011 13:48

Haha brilliant!

MinnieBar · 07/12/2011 13:49

I've added those of you who put a link to your boards. Let me know if you want to be added as well!

HoHoHoFunIntended · 07/12/2011 15:30

Ha ha - love the MN board! Well done!

Terry Wogan and Pombears needed though!

HoHoHoFunIntended · 07/12/2011 15:41

Just seen we can add stuff to the MN board ourselves. Have added the Pom-Bear! I don't wish to Google Images TWC though!!!

foosty · 07/12/2011 16:28

I googled TWC - it won't let me pin it though! how does it know ???

MinnieBar · 07/12/2011 16:43

mwha - ha - ha!

I can't really get Pintrest to work, think it's a browser issue, this seems to have me so frustrated that I'm dreaming about it...

I dream that I needed to invent a web app that would allow parents to show children a limited number of pairs of trousers from a catalogue/website, so that the child could have input into chooing their trousers without going all distracted and demanding the wildly expensive items shown next to them.

And then I dreamt that I didn't need to - Pintrest would be ideal for this.

Xmas Hmm
