The most cringeworthy had to be Alexandra Burke on XFactor last week. She made a total twat of herself with that.

I opened this thread expecting to disagree with you, but you are entirely correct. I dont know why people do it, It might have been vaguely amusing the first time someone did it, but I think that was probably about 10 years ago and it hasnt been funny since.

My daughter's latest is hashtag.

So if someone is doing something stupid she will say 'hashtag loser'

Or if someone is wearing something dodgy it will be 'hashtag fashion princess'
