Who actually cares enough to send this chap to prison? Why? Is he dangerous? Is he disgusting? Is he a criminal? here

AtYourCervix · 24/08/2011 18:38

and if he is a criminal for being naked how does that work with women feeding their babies?

OP posts:
Firawla · 24/08/2011 18:41

i think a man walking around naked could be seen as quite intimidating to most people, you would have some doubt whether he could be dangerous or some kind of weirdo etc so i can understand the objection to it.
i dont think women go around feeding their babies naked (i know i dont!) so hardly the same thing is it?? no comparison to be made there imo..

ObiWan · 24/08/2011 18:41

Ha ha - I never ever fed my child while walking down the street stark naked!

YoungishBag · 24/08/2011 18:41

Yes, he is committing a crime by walking around naked all the time. It's a public order offence (indecent exposure).

Yes, he should put on clothes.

I don't want to see his cock and before you tell me to 'not look' a cock is pretty mesmerising out in the open air and I don't want it wandering round the shops.

Itsjustafleshwound · 24/08/2011 18:41

Def of breaching the peace:

Breach Of The Peace

(n) Breach Of The Peace is the act of causing disturbance to the peaceful living of an individual or society by resorting to threat, physical intimidation, working with dangerous article which may inflict injury to others.

Just jealousy obo the sheriff Grin

Bizarre ....

worraliberty · 24/08/2011 18:42

Oh not that attentions seeker again Hmm

The law is the law and he's not above it as he well knows

As for caring to send him to prison...where would that end if people who repeatedly stuck two fingers up to the law, weren't eventually sent there?

welliesandpyjamas · 24/08/2011 18:42

My first ever Biscuit

coccyx · 24/08/2011 18:43

wouldn't bother me. as long as it wasn't at full mast and coming my way!!
see breasts and nipples in a newspaper

YoungishBag · 24/08/2011 18:45

And if the fucking idiot never wears clothes then he has nothing to cover himself up with when he gets a normal, every day erection.

Noone wants waving, erect cocks in the street. I mean, it would put you off your hot-dog.

AtYourCervix · 24/08/2011 18:46

but he's been in prison for most of the past 10 years. real criminal types don't get that.

I understand it's hard not to look. a stroll along studland in the sun is always interesting. but intimidating? is it?

BeyondTheLimitsOfAcceptability · 24/08/2011 18:47

I'm with you AtYourCervix I dont get the big deal with nudity being "wrong"...

BeyondTheLimitsOfAcceptability · 24/08/2011 18:48

I think I may move to a nudist colony. DS and DH will like that too, they both love being naked Grin

AtYourCervix · 24/08/2011 18:48

and yes the breast and baby feeding comparison was more than a small bit crap I admit.

OP posts:
Blueberties · 24/08/2011 18:49

He needs help, he's not well in his head. He must be so unhappy. His priorities are all over the place.

AtYourCervix · 24/08/2011 18:50

14 billion threads on hee about the shock and horror of having to cover up 4 year olds and bikini tops or 8 year olds and 'is tweird t let my child play in the garden naked' so why is it weird and criminal for this chap to ramble nude?

OP posts:
worraliberty · 24/08/2011 18:51

He's only been in prison for that amount of time because he's a twat who thinks he's above the law.

I remember seeing him on TV, telling Richard Madley that anyone who insists on wearing clothes is suffering from a mental illness Hmm

AtYourCervix · 24/08/2011 18:51

and it must be bloody cold. the bahamas i can understand but sctland?

OP posts:
AtYourCervix · 24/08/2011 18:51

but Worrra - why is being naked illegal?

OP posts:
AtYourCervix · 24/08/2011 18:53

and at what age is it criminal to walk around naked? why is it OK for children and not adults? why should adults have to wear clothes?

OP posts:
YoungishBag · 24/08/2011 18:53

I don't think nudity is wrong either but society has deemed it illegal to walk round naked. And we all want to be part of society so that comes with rules and responsibilities.

So instead of campaigning about it this guy just walks round naked knowing it is an illegal act - if he actually wanted to be naked he could just join a nudist colony abroad or go to five acres (a nudist club near here).

I don't think one guy walking around naked constantly is going to suddenly make society go "You know, nudity is fine - let's repeal the public order act".

It comes down to does he want to be a member of this society or not? If he does he will have to conform while out in public.

worraliberty · 24/08/2011 18:54

but Worrra - why is being naked illegal?

That wasn't your original question and it's probably one for another thread.

This man is being repeatedly punished for repeatedly breaking the law...fair enough in my opinion.

Being naked is not illegal. You can do it in the comfort of your own home and your can also do it on certain nudist beaches.

ChumleeIsMyHomeboy · 24/08/2011 18:57

Strikes me that this chap just wants to be banged up - he obviously doesn't mind it in the nick since every time he walks out he reoffends and goes right back in. His choice - comply with the law of the land (or campaign to get it changed - hopefully unsuccessfully!) or spend the rest of your life inside.

onagar · 24/08/2011 19:01

I hope all naturists are going to be arrested and imprisoned too. clearly every one of them is a criminal and pervert.

Everyone who baths naked too should be locked up. We must put a stop to this kind of thing.

Did you know that babies come out naked? clearly a disgusting practice that needs to be sorted out quickly before the nation sinks into a moral abyss.

worraliberty · 24/08/2011 19:04

ongar would you be happy then if from tomorrow onwards, everyone walked around Tescos/the street/the school/wherever....stark naked?

Personally my stomach just isn't that strong!

AtYourCervix · 24/08/2011 19:05

i don't think i'd care that much. each to their own an all. personally i feel the cold too much.
