A friend and I had been discussing movies and he mentioned a horror movie I have not heard of before so stupid me googled the sypnosis on Wikipedia and I now feel very sick!

I won't go into it and won't mention the movie incase anyone else feels the need to google (if you are nosey like me [blush)) but like I say I have actually thrown up twice and my mind keeps wandering back to it, he was laughing saying well I should've warned you about that but it's only a movie.

I guess he's right but surely I'm not the only one who gets disturbed by what I can only describe as horrific movies?!

Was it the Human Centipide?

madonnawhore · 07/06/2011 21:08

That is a very extreme reaction to a film you haven't even seen!

lovetheoneyourewith · 07/06/2011 21:09

I was just going to say what wigglesrock said, but I was going to allude to it to save other people from googling it!

I read about this today in the lovely DM and it freaked me out too!

katvond · 07/06/2011 21:10

Please tell me the film or pm please :) ta

squeakytoy · 07/06/2011 21:10

If it is the one I read about earlier, that made me feel sick. Does part of it begin with C ?

DingleDangleDiva · 07/06/2011 21:10

No, although given the media hype at the moment (and my noseyness) I googled that too.

Sounds pretty screwed up but not a patch on the thing I just read :(

Serves me right I suppose

You're going to have to say which film.

Could you PM me to save any other sensitive souls?

toddlerama · 07/06/2011 21:10

YANBU to find horror movies repulsive. YABU to think your friend should not mention them. Not everyone reacts like that. FWIW, I react like you. Trailers haunt my memory...

BelleEnd · 07/06/2011 21:11

My brother (horror film nut) saw the first Human Centipede film and was sick. He's seen all the scariest ones but says that it's just disturbing.

takethisonehereforastart · 07/06/2011 21:12

I was going to ask the same thing as wigglesrock because I saw the poster for that film and it made me throw up as well.

lovetheoneyourewith · 07/06/2011 21:13

Oh.

Not that Baltic one?

littlemissboden · 07/06/2011 21:13

yep I stupidly read about 'C' film online today, and heaved!! i wish curiosity hadnt taken over, as its at the back of my mind now and no doubt will loom its head in my dreams! i threw up in Scream 1, from screaming!!

needanewname · 07/06/2011 21:13

Well we all thought it was the same film. I've never seen it and don;t think I want to but they've made a sequel and the board won't even give it a rating they say its that bad [puke]

katvond · 07/06/2011 21:14

Just googled that film watched trailer not my type of film

katvond · 07/06/2011 21:15

I thought blue waffle was bad ;)

MarshaBrady · 07/06/2011 21:16

Oh bad luck. I can't bear awful images sticking in my mind.

Hope you can erase!

They wont give the second film a rating as it's so sick

spiderslegs · 07/06/2011 21:20

Come on OP, spill the beans (I appreciate you have already a couple of times but not all of us are so emetic.)

lovetheoneyourewith · 07/06/2011 21:21

Yeah, thats what I meant when I said the Baltic one.

There was a thread on here about it a while ago.

Vile, I agree.

CheeseandGherkins · 07/06/2011 21:22

I thought it might be that film. It is truly awful. Not seen it but read the synopsis a while ago too, not expecting it to be like that. It was worse than anything I've read about before ever.

DingleDangleDiva · 07/06/2011 21:26

lovetheoneyourwith sorry x-post.

I had'nt heard about it before, should've checked here first Blush

Keep telling myself it's just a movie but the Wiki description was not exactly subtle and for some reason I kept reading. WHY WHY WHY???!!!

I am just fecking hoping it was not widely seen whilst it was available and can't even think why someone would think it was a good story line. I always think that the mind of a horror writer must be a very scary and twisted place.

OP posts:
QueeferSutherland · 07/06/2011 21:27

I thought it was the Serbian Film.

I've been horrified by the synopsis too.

Truly, truly disgusting.

MainlyMaynie · 07/06/2011 21:27

The film does sound completely disgusting, but that is a very extreme reaction to just reading a film synopsis. I can see why your friend might think it is over-sensitive - it's certainly at the very sensitive end of the spectrum!

wigglesrock · 07/06/2011 21:28

Yes I know the one you mean, I remember the thread about it now. Not something I would choose to watch.
