To think that a blow job...

K999 · 08/05/2011 20:42

should be called something else?

I mean, there's no blowing involved (unless I count DP blowing out heavily when I'm giving hime one)..

And my first attempt at a "blow" job gave many years ago, the blokes cock ended up like the snake in Shrek! He was none too pleased.

So, AIBU??

I spent ten years living in Canada where a blow-job was also called a hummer!

Idea being that you hum when you do it (fucking hell!) and that the vibrations are meant to give added pleasure.

So blow job is a shite name certainly, but hummer is a lot worse

I can just imagine DHs reaction if I start humming in the middle of a blow job. Must try it, hilarious.

Lindax · 08/05/2011 21:00

"blow" is for the resulting orgasm......as in volcano blowing its top

MotherSnacker · 08/05/2011 21:01

Call it cock sucking then.

TooImmature2BMum · 08/05/2011 21:01

What does the snake in Shrek look like?

Makeminealarge · 08/05/2011 21:05

many a moon ago the gentlemen would refer to it as a 'below job' from prostitutes. The london slang then became 'b'low job, sir?'.

DaisyLovesMetronidazole · 08/05/2011 21:06

Apparently the "blow" was originally "below".

Technically it's a "b'low job".

YANBU.

Ooh, cross posts!

Snake in ShreK?

Is humming not the done thing then? I always hum!

HecateQueenOfTheNight · 08/05/2011 21:08

I always used to get the urge to start pretending I was playing an oboe.

Sometimes I just couldn't help myself and would pretend to play. Blush It's not sexy Grin but it is funny.

I also always got the urge to bite down, really really hard.

I never did that one, but the urge was overwhelming!

K999 · 08/05/2011 21:10

Think it was a snake?? Or maybe a frog? You know when Shrek and Fiona are walking along and they pick up animals, blow them up like balloons?? Grin

OP posts:
susall · 08/05/2011 21:10

It gets blown up like a balloon by either Shrek or Fiona, as does a frog Grin

squeakytoy · 08/05/2011 21:10

I suppose its better than the term that used to be used when I was a teen.

"gimme a gobble" really doesnt make it sound appealing.. [confuses]

sixthsense · 08/05/2011 21:13

I remember a friend admitting to me that she did actually blow very gently...thinking it was the done thing!!! Grin

After about 5-10 mins of sensual blowing her then bf stopped her and asked what exactly was she doing.......

ChaosTrulyReigns · 08/05/2011 21:13

Interesting Hec that your post was all in the past tense.

Hmm Grin
K999 · 08/05/2011 21:13

The guys at my school used to sing..

"get your gums round my plums, gies (scottish slang) gies a gobble
Get your lipstick round my dipstick, gies a gobble"

They were such charmers and gentlemen..Grin

I play the william tell overture on his cock before trying to bite it off and you think he still lets me near the bugger? Grin

Get your gums round my plums, get your teeth round beef, get your jaws round my baws bite my banger! Defo charmers!

Never understood blow job either strange term.

K999 · 08/05/2011 22:06

Maybe that's why Hecate has the urge to bite...Grin
